Id love to be in that...but I dont have a wheel :.(

Nice, a lot of great news!! If the physics and the track design in FM4 will be as good as in GT5, then I can´t wait to get my hands on this game!!!

From insidesimracing.tv - "Forza Motorsport 4 Car Bowling at Top Gear Track"

WTF... this sure lowers my expectations of a console racing "sim" 👎

To be a console racing purist is the most self contradictory thing ever. 👍

Don't be so stuck up with "true sim", esp. when GT5 has a Samba bus race...........

and a Kublewagen race that has oncoming cars trying to wreck you.

I'm actually looking forward to the car football. It's not as if it was totally alien in FM3. T10 actually organized a tournament or two themselves in the past.

This wasn't it, but this is how it looked and was tremendous fun, unless you were the Golf ball (geddit?), they were called the referee to keep them happy lol

Skittles = Meh ATM for me, although the cone challenges were a fun diversion in PGR4

I am looking forward to it to. It will be a welcome break from countless laps.

Ok soccer, ok bowling, but what about racing? Any news about the car physics how these suspensions are supposed to work?

Yes, lots. Look around and you'll find lots of opinion.

And then we´ve had discussions about GT5 and manufacturers don´t want to see their cars damaged :ouch:

I hope that those football, bowling type events will keep the crash em up derby kids out of online races...at least a few of em.

Imagine demolition derbies on top gear :o

Wait, just play gran turismo online for that...

Guys, this is what happens when a tie-in with Top Gear actually reflects the show it's based on and not a poorly included Test Track that shares little with the show apart from being at Dunsfold.

Do we get the whole track or just the figure 8?

The whole track with different layouts, including dragstrip.

Just found this it seems too come from an unknown FM4 trailer...

Sorry but does that Also mean the track that's around the figure 8?

The figure 8 circuit is the most popular. There have already been videos of that posted.

It's in there.

ISTR I read they had the short circuit too as one of the ribbons. I reckon they'd be a dead cert to include an open Dunsfold given the seeming popularity of Benchmark.

....and lots of facts too, but you can't expect people with blinders on to (want to?) find this stuff easily

I don't know Forza sites nor their news sites, that's why I've asked for some news, there's no need to be such an a*****.

Basically he said they thrown away old tyres data for a new one, with new slip angle values I guess. but what about suspensions? That was the main problem of FM3, cars sticked to the ground with no bouncing at all, too flat. Do they add CAD data for suspensions this time?

Has anybody seen this, it shows a weather rating for what looks to be each track. Surely this confirms wet weather does it not?

I take it that it's the temperature surely the lower the temperature means more chance of rain, we can only hope and pray :sly:

This has already been discussed. The weather could be just a temp, overcast or no overcast. It could be just concept art. Nobody knows yet and no unfortunately it doesn't confirm wet weather.

The temps could have an effect on the tyres. If weather is in then I'd expect it only in certain tracks or races. With such detailed tracks and cars it just might effect the frame rate too much on certain tracks.

Just a guess though...

ALMS - Forza tie in announced on Mid-Ohio weekend?! Hope this means the track will be in the game!
