It affects players in the auction house.

I understand why T10 banned money glitchers. They have an online auction feature which could (and has) been affected by the glitchers. Allowing that to happen would ruin car, liveries, etc being sold on there so they tightened the reigns against those cheating

Well, in which way? If more people have more money, the stuff they put up will sell much more quick. But i can ensure you, that the way i did it is very rare, and do not include any glitching :)

Ever heard of inflation?

Turn 10 tries to stop cheaters for the same reason the Government tries to stop counterfeiting.

If people glitch credits, then creators will raise prices to take advantage of that. Effectively :censored:ing over anyone who doesn't cheat the system.

If you want to cheat that's fine by me, but using glitched(Or otherwise illegitimately "earned") credits on the storefront is something that annoys me. Especially when people try to justify it like that.

If you need any proof of Mint's words, just reflect back on when Unicorns hit the auction house. The only people who could bid on them where cheaters because the resulting bids that won were just ridiculous amounts of credits.

I admit, i got major $$ in forza 3 by doing stuff, so what? Did that affect other players or turn 10, well no...it only made me play the game more by buying more cars and more tuning parts etc. Same with gt5, i got credits thru rubberband glitching etc.

Then you can easily out bid the legit players in the auction house. 👎

You don't really understand economics do you?

I hope we get some more car reveals tomorrow and they come thick and fast. It's been a bit barren of late.

Some news on a demo would be great, or reveals of cars new to the game. I've got a feeling we'll get some big news this week.

I think that serious information and media campaign will begin as soon as Gears of War 3 momentum pass.

GOW3 releases tomorrow and there is one week of initial campaign. So I presume next week as a start of the real FM4 campaign.

Microsoft does not want to overlap campaigns and information flow for 2 of their most important first-party releases in 2011 so this whole stand-by is somewhat expected.

Thats a very good point amar.

I got to play FM4 on Friday. I was driving a Ferrari (I'm not up to date on my Ferraris so I can't remember the model) on a sort of mountain track with a big banked turn half way round. I was very impressed with it, the graphics are fantastic throughout and the handling seems a little less arcade like now. I had to be very careful going through sweeping bends as the back end just wanted to get loose, and drifts were much more difficult to control than in the last game.

So far so good IMO!

Well, that sounds not good :D

"a little less arcade"? I think the physics are really good. I play FM3 these days and the physics are already fine. A bit too often understeer but it´s ok.

FM3 handled well but the cars had a little bit too much grip IMO. They seem to have toned that down a little. Either that or they've adjusted the steering dead zone with a controller. The car didn't seem as twitchy as some of the FM3 cars did at high speed.

Do you recall whether you were playing with the simulation steering or with the regular setting?

Simulation. I made sure I set it to as realistic a setting as was possible, by default all of the aids were turned on!

Yeah I play FM3 these days and am surprised how good it was :)

There's probably a lot of people preparing their garages for FM4 and stuff 👍

Recently I decided to purchase Forza 3 again, I'm using my Brother's Xbox as I follow the route of the PS3. I won two races online and got 3 hate messages, there also appear to be a large amount of unsportish players online. Now, is it always like this on the 360? I plan to purchase Forza 4 and an Xbox soon.

Not really. Its pretty similar to GT5 in terms of online behavior.

3 hate messages of the same person?

Good thing they left hoppers in. We all know that every public custom lobby will be set up by some jerk who spends his whole days lapping people with his favorite car on his favorite track with collisions off, damage off and no class restriction.
