Get to play it a bit sooner if you're near Silverstone.

RogueMotorsport over at Pistonheads.com

"Hi Guys,

We're sponsored by Forza Motorsport 4 and Toyota for our Britcar 24 hour entry at Silverstone on 1st and 2nd of October. We'll have the Bernese Alps demo available in our garage throughout the event if you want to stop by and give it a try."

I guess I shouldn't have said 2 circuits, as in two layouts. My bad. What I meant was that between turn 10 and 11 there is an optional "bend" that they open and close during certain races:

Having that bend in gives it even more of a road course feeling, and other games have added that bend.

That MR2 looks great in Forza colours.

Ahhh. Ok makes sense now. I thought I knew that track well as its one of my favorites, and just got mind boggled by thinking they had another layout. Yeah I am familiar with that bend, I dont recall it in Race Pro though.

Wis. has Road America, and the Packers...how awesome it that?

Yup 1 week to play the demo before the game comes out. Im thinking about not even playing the demo and just waiting for the full game experience. Iv'e waited this long, I think I can wait another week.

It's awesome having that, but it doesn't make up for how much it still sucks to live in Wisconsin :(

Interesting how some people post that the cars look too grippy and some post they are too slidey.

Which is it? lol

I notice that too.

I've come to the conclusion that T10 have got it spot on.

I think it all depends on what driver aids people are using to whether it looks grippy or slippy. I haven't seen any that looked too slippy. Yes this game looks less forgiving for driver errors than FM3 but that is a welcomed bit a realism if you ask me. The videos that look too grippy obviously just have driver aids such as traction and stability control turned on.

Which will also be me. I'm a terrible no-aid driver...

I have never played a forza game but F4 looks decent enough to at least rent and play on my girlfreinds xbox, but

What's with the physics in this video? The car is constantly sliding around like a typical arcade racer. People are constantly banging on about how realistic forza is (not Gtplanet people) Is the physics set to arcade here or something?

Game looks beautiful btw, too bad its an xbox exclusive

Have tou seen the topgear video with this car? Even the Stig had a handfull:lol:

I think this is the HD link TopGear Ferrari 599 GTO

"This is not a car, it's a wild animal......Aaarrhhh actually its not even an animal it's just a bastard!"

It's almost certainly how you approach cornering. You can approach corners in FM3 smooth and precise, or you can really make the tyres work, which is how I drive on there and to an extent IRL.

Anyway, I drove on Road America for the first time earlier. I have to say, it's my new favorite track in Forza 3.

With no aids :D

I think it looks great. That car looks a total bastard to control, and you can see the stability and ABS lights flickering on and off so they are switched on. I can't wait to find out how crap I really am at driving. :dopey:

I thought Dan said Forza was playable by a 4 year old, not some pro drifter.... :guilty:

It is when you have aids. It practically drives itself. Especially if you are using Kinect.

Will be getting a chance to play this on Friday, anything you guys want me to try out while I have it in my hands? Anything to find out nd give feedback on?

~ Play a race with and without aids and tell the difference

That's my request. :)

Driving physics without any assists

Tire smoke (try to create as much as possible to see the limit of how much is possible and how long it lingers) *a video would be nice*

Check the braking to see if its really easy to lock the brakes up without abs like it is in FM3. :yuck:

Last but not least, HAVE FUN. 👍

I will definatly try to get some videos, the event I am going to said taking videos is fine unless told specifically by the individual game people at each station. Hopefully FM4 willl be good to go.
