Two things.
They've used a MUCH higher quality background for Viejo and Positano looks so much nicer now all the rocks and scenery aren't a horrid yellow colour.
Oh, and if Positano is cut, why rename the short track?
I have to completely disagree with you. Most of Camino's first sections were completely in shadow, it's now going to be completely opened up. It'll also make a nice chage, almost be like racing on a different track.
I can't wait to see what Iberian and Ladera look like. Going off the map on the World tour images, there is a giant lake in the center of Iberian now in place of a rocky pit.
Camino Extreme Reverse was quite messed up.
Edit : And call me surprised about Amalfi/Positano renaming.
Also, those FM3/FM4 comparison shots look like game vs real life comparison lol
Wow...I never thought FM3 looked bad in any area, but the improvements made to these two tracks just in testure, lighting and effects are mind boggling.
Maybe just a mistake on the Tracks page.I dissagree on the reverse extreme circuit. I loved it. Question is, why scrap it?
Wow they really messed up Camino. The hairpin looks completely out of place without the hill next to it. And the entire background environment or road is on a really odd angle now. They've also messed up the kerbing in the second shot too.
Still looking forward to it but they've made some strange decisions. I'll miss the spectators.

I agree that Forza 3 looks pretty dang good but WOW those shots from F3 to F4 are a huge improvement. 👍I never thought FM3 looked bad in any area, but the improvements made to these two tracks just in testure, lighting and effects are mind boggling.

The comparison shots @ Camino's first chicane show the mountain...gone in FM4![]()
The most glaring difference is the crowd removal.
I wonder if it's just a photomode thing.
Not sure about it. If I remember right this is a "feature" which was present in FM2 and removed from FM3. Seeing it returning for FM4 would be hardly surprising.Hot lapping in FM3 had no crowds, since the grand-stands are there, I'm sure for normal race events, like always, the crowd will be there!

I thought the same way and did a quick check recently. I'm pretty sure I saw people in the grandstands while hotlapping. But I could be wrong.I remember in the FM3 build up, they showed video and photo's of empty grandstands etc, people thought the same thing, but it turned out OK..
I do a lot of hotlapping in FM3, I may be going senile, but I swear there aren't any crowds in the grandstands when I'm doing it.. (*disclaimer* my mind is easily fooled!)
Its a fantasy track so I have no problem at all with changes. To me the new maps look really good. The comparison shots @ Camino's first chicane show the mountain...gone in FM4![]()
Neo Camino looks great, but FM3's Camino had more "realistic" mountains (in regards to where it's supposed to be).
I'd rather have real tracks being modeled then a fantasy track.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Santa_Maria_de_MontserratWhere its supposed to be??? It's a fantasy track. It's supposed to be where ever they decide to put it.
Meh. I prefer fantasy tracks.
I've driven the same selection of race tracks thousands of times in countless racing games this generation.
Some new tracks are very welcome to me.
