I think that dude just sucks and has never used a FFB wheel before.

Look at the twitchy steering. Who the hell does that? Lol.

I love the over exaggerated shifts on the paddles. Lol I think he wants everyone to see how bad he is.

Reminds me of women drinking wine throwing their pinkies in the air lol.

Fail.

I dunno. It does look pretty hard to control...

It's a possibility to consider highly the people who come to these videogames events..

But my impression is that it is difficult to control without assistance, and that's good, very good ..

It's hard to control because of what he is doing to the steering wheel lol.

If I jumped in my Jetta turned off the ESP and rocked the steering wheel back and forth like an idiot it would do the same thing lol.

Is Forza 4 the only game at the event? :)

He was probably just walking by.

If his hand animations and ridiculous steering technique don't tell you something then there is nothing else that I can say.

Just because he thinks it looks cool... doesn't mean it is right.

It is more difficult on simulation steering. But, not THAT difficult. That is a terrible example. Lol.

While the game is indeed more difficult now with all assists off, the video above shows how BAD drivers can be. I thought he was going to rip that wheel off it's base, lol!

Lol.

Well the Ring looks beautiful. Hard to tell whether or not they modified the width.

Imo the physics are still more like FM3 than GT5 although it has gone very slightly in the direction of GT5 but in a good way imo. At first it seemed the cars were harder to control but after I got used to it they are pretty easy. It could be because of the track however. Pretty much every corner is either on an up hill or down hill or the corner is banked. Also most of the track is wide as hell. I'm going to reserve full judgement on the physics until I get on a proper track.

Another thing to think about is I have played allot of demos and allot of them seem to feel like the physics have been altered by the time you get the actual game so it could still end up changing.

I am happy that AWD cars like the WRX'11 in the Forza 4 demo are not as hard to loose control of when compared to FM3. Furthermore, I tested the WRX'10 in GT5 on trial mountain and compared it to the WRX'11 in the FM4 demo (all assists off in both games), and it's more difficult to control in FM4 imo, which I think is a good improvement over FM3.

Yeah, the steering in this game is amazing now. Dan was right about the improvement.

The damage model improvement is actually rather substantial. That is one of the best things about it too. Now you can damage the area you actually hit. In FM3, if you were hit in the left rear corner, the entire bumper would be damaged all the way from left to right. Now, just that left corner is damaged. Same with the tail lights. Before both would be gone, but now just the affected areas has the damaged tail light.

I am glad they made all those improvements.

It's not like there's a lot of room for real time damage.
You're not going to see real life damage for some years.

ON that note, the damage is insanely better, especially since it's more localized.
Waht more do you want?

Yep, the damage model is more improved then I was expecting, ,much more localised, much more deformation, it feels much more immersive this time..

Yes, I forgot to mention more deformation too, which I was surprised by. I don't recall Dan mentioning that.

While they have improved everything, they keep the one thing that completely ruins the game with steering assist. I'll pass.

more details please? on pad or on wheel? with telemetry prove? Doesn't make sense when they admit a problem, be very public about fixing it but still leave it in?

Is there any way to stop the intro at the start of the race where the car is revving? I hated it in F3 and cant believe they kept it after all the complaints.
