But yeah agree it would be good if specs could be announced before people announce their car choice. In an ideal situation, we should have a pecking order for who can choose car first. With the current first-come-first-served system, if someone's away for a couple of days, they could come back to GTP to find no cars left..

I'm working towards early february - soon i'll be stopping major GTP activities for a while (when university figure out their 🤬 and decide on a timetable). There is an unwritten gentlemans agreement that allows @Scaniabebe Renaults... considering no-one else wants them it's not entirely a big loss :lol: But seriously, expect a 2 week window before anything "official" is down on paper.

Might have an updated Mazda render as well, I know people hated that green :lol:

Right, want to really make a push with the Clios this season. I know for a fact of 2 full teams already entered this season of 3 drivers each, if we can get 13+ at all rounds this season be so much better. Expect minor spec tweaks and slight schedule alteration (perhaps one standalone event) for the new season of ToCA Clio Cup.

As for the Clios, count me out... just can't seem to find any enjoyment while driving it...

Did consider making ToCA drivers ineligible but that would just result in the ToCA guys using their pace to block people who are competing for Clio honours.
 
Imo the Clios should return to sports (non-customisable) suspension, it became a lot of hassle to try and set up a ToCA car and a Clio car at the same time (if you want to be competitive you have to actually work quite a lot on setup) - if we went back to no-setup I think it would re-gain a lot of its appeal.

Decided to follow the real Clio Cup who have adjustable suspension but locked drivetrains (last I checked at Oulton anyway..)

They do but only partially, on our Gen3 Clio we can only adjust camber, not sure about current Gen4 Clios though.

Edit: Was just thinking that if the Clio series could be as 'pick up and play' as possible, might be beneficial to grid numbers.

We did have 16 at BHI, just varying delays (often out of our hands) kinda hurt it.

What do you mean? We do touring cars, historic racing, and full damage if that is what you mean.

ToCA - touring cars, limited damage, 20 minute races, no pit stops required.
ToCA Clios - ToCA feeder series, 1 make, limited damage, 15 minute races, no pit stops.
V8 Supercars - V8 tourers, 50 minute or 2hr + races with full damage and yellows.
WSC - 60's Classic racing 2-3hr races, full damage, pit stops required even if in a Chapparal ahem @LancerEvo7

Safety Car drivers need training and testing beforehand, got a 16 car entry (8 teams of 2) for tonights Motegi Enduro.
