Won't see that episode for the rest of my life nope not one bit.

Anyone catch tonight's episode?
Pretty epic on many levels.
Surprised by the violence as well.
Definitely an Ep I will not forget soon.

That fight at the end was depressing.
True, but I was prepared, I know spoilers. :(
That said, I think they did an excellent job with the fight and you'll enjoy seeing what's to come. 👍
No spoilers but I assure you that if you found that fight depressing you'll get some pleasure out of that story line in the future. :D

Told my wife the same thing. :)

Wow. Just wow.

I very rarely get shocked by movies or TV shows, but the last episode. I'm speechless.
I really wasn't expecting that.

It's not so much the fact that it did happen, but the way it did that shocked me most.

You could see it in Tyrion's eyes that he was afraid of his champion letting his guard down too much. I knew then that his personal anguish would ultimately cost him his life moments later.

Ah, glad to see you know what's up. :sly:

There's a satisfaction I get out of episodes like that even though they really test my patience. I hate to see a character I like die but I also love to see a larger story play out. 👍

That said, I really have to emphasize what a good job they did with the Viper's fighting skills. He was graceful and agile with that spear and really made it obvious he was a far better fighter. I love seeing how Jamie Lannister was responding, not only was he surprised, he was happy about his brother's potential exoneration and at the same time genuinely enjoying himself for seeing skilled combat.

Very well done episode.
One thing I find odd though... What's to come of the hound and arya now?
I know a good bit of what happens in the books with those two and it almost seems like they skipped over the book content and created a new path (though they could easily still work the book into the show).

Well that was gross.

Brilliant episode though. Peter Dinklage is captivating, in fact the acting across the board in this series is seriously good.

This was quite a gruesome episode.

Well Arya and Sansa are now in the same place. I'm really hoping they do but GoT has a habit of suddenly changing direction just when you think everything is going to work out.

Same here I wont spoil anything but holy crap I did NOT see that coming. I sat for 10 minutes with my jaw open at the end. Just wow. Now that I am all caught up, this is the first show EVER in my life that I have now been looking forward to every week. However I can only watch it a day later on Monday night. So I am usually a day behind. Still love this show so much.

I do have 1 question which puzzled me about that episode.

Spoiler

What the heck was that entire bit about with crushing the beetles? I didn't understand and that part seemed to have no value at all to the show. Other than Oberyn getting smashed at the end. My friend that read the books even had no idea what that was about. Also dang that was so depressing how Oberyn died. I really did not see that coming at all.

End spoiler

Spoiler tags not working.

I think what happens to the them in the book would happen before the end of this season.

For anyone who watched the previous ep, have something to ease the pain.

How can an episode with so much blood and gore be so refreshing after what happened last week?

I'm glad they dedicated the whole 50 minutes to this battle like they did with Blackwater. This one had some of the best cinematography I've seen all season (e.g. the panning shot around Castle Black's courtyard during the heat of battle) plus the skirmishes and set-pieces didn't disappoint. Especially the giant lining up for a shot at the wall after his wildling buddy's arrow fell 500 feet short, then showing him how it's done by launching a crow up and over with his spear-sized arrow.

My only issues were that Ygritte's last line was dreadfully predictable (I was hoping that catchphrase wouldn't be her final words), and Jon's face holding up exceedingly well after getting intimate with an anvil. At least it sounds like his nose got busted whenever he talks.

Gotta hand it to Sam though for engaging Boss Mode, and dropping an F bomb in the process.

All episodes should be at least 2 hours long, when things are getting exciting, the episode ends.
