Before I get flamed for this im not a troll or a forza fanboy or anything but why congratulate PD, They released a game that was only half finished and since then we have had patch after patch to get it on par with other games out there, There are games with better car lists as just one example.
Do they really deserve to be rewarded for releasing a half baked game that is still full of bugs and glitches after nearly a year of it going on sale, And lets not all forget this DLC shenanigans and the fact that its taking until December for it to get fixed !!!
Also feel sorry for the people with this game who don't have their PS3 connected to the internet for whatever reason the game they are stuck with since launch.

PD is not a big company like EA. So, i may think it's one of the reason that they didn't get to fixed the glitch early. Plus, who's going to do GT6, not to mention other upcoming DLC. It may look few but man work needed are probably not enough for PD if they want to release it early. If i'm not mistaken, they have only two studios...
Still, i don't find any racing game or games that doesn't have any glitches in it and now it's internet ages. The majority people that own PS3 have internet so, should PD looks more to the small portion of people and release the game 5 years later than opt to release the game early and patch it month by month?
I don't think so....like i said above, even if it's a complete game, glitches will still be there.
Plus, someone might be on super saiya mode and i could be one of them.
On the other hand, PD eventually won that. The other competitor are basicly all racing car game and somewhat arcade.
SHFT2: Yes, they do have normal cars too but the majority cars are all supercars compare to GT5, as you know it have tones of different cars even if it's standard.
DIRT 3: Just a rally game. Arcade. Again. But seriously, i don't have any grudge on arcade game. I play the NFS, F1 2010 and DIRT myself. đź‘Ť
F1 2010: Another racing game but it's more fully focus on racing cars so...
GT5: Combining all of it + more admirable graphics and gameplay and not an arcade game.
So all and all, the only real competitor for this is only SHIFT 2. I'm not saying the other are bad games, i've play all of it and it's all the best, each game on it's own style but PD really deserve this. And about the upcoming Forza 4. I've to admit, the graphic looks delicious than GT5 but again, that game consist more supercars than some other 'unknown' cars. I expect PD won again next year unless F1 2012, SHIFT 3 or The Run, or DIRT 4 makes a huge improvement.

but seriously man every game need internet it's the new gaming era, think about all the glitches with FM4 now with the steering issue and people not getting fully payouts because they drive to perfect?
