Isn't the anniversary edition in canada the same as in the US? Or does canada get an actual special edition?
I ordered mine from EB games, which is the Canadian version of Gamestop, and it showed the same bonus content that came with the US one.

Unless the reviews can convince me otherwise; the second hand version.

Anyone in Canada (or Ontario specifically) notice they have a "LE" (Limited Edition) and "RE" (no idea what it stands for, neither did the sales person) version? I just came back from my EBgames here in Mississauga, they said they have those two versions available but won't have details until next week. Has anyone heard of these?

EDIT: They were both priced at $59.99.

I like that people who aren't getting the game, are telling us so in a thread meant for those who are getting the game.
I like that part the best most ever.

I'm getting one of each and an xbone to play them with. because bluray 0.o

I would like a version that included 25 of the Anniversary cars, the t-shirt, and the diecast car. It has to work with my American PS3.

AFAIK - or as far as I could gather from the sales-clerk :D , the LE is the Anniversary Edition and the RE is the regular model. Those who pre-order get the LE at the same price as the RE. The prices are the same, the SKU's are different to enable POS monitoring.

Anniversary Edition for sure...via PSN or box. My brain is still debating which one to get...digital or box...

Thanks for the info. I've read that link back to front over the past few months and get that part, my beef is that when I actually go to the store, there are 3 in my local area (within 5km), they don't have ANY info despite me showing them their own site on my phone . They've never been reliable for me, at least I can count on people here .

Thanks again.

I pre-ordered through GameStop and got a *FREE* upgrade to the 15th Anniversary edition with extra cars, paint chips, helmets, race suits, and PSN avatars. Does not include any free game credits by what I saw in the description:

I am so darn excited! 2 weeks to go... WOOT!

I've pre-ordered the standard version on PS Store, because (in my opinion) the Anniversary Edition has little in common with a real celebration of the anniversary. No premium GTO, FTO, Supra, Cerbera, Corvertte C4, Escudo and other significant cars. No reason for buying an extended edition.

Standard one. I see no reason to buy an special edition of this (and any game actually).

Anniversary Edition, and I must become a Sony Plus member again for the extra GT6 perks.

^Not in Mexico bro... they (stores) always raise the price of "Special Edition" games

I pre order the standard edition. 49,90 euros in Portugal.

What "Extra perks"? :odd:

Standard Edition, the Anniversairy is not worth 20 euro more..

I just remembered the free upgrade to 15th Anniversary Edition is a Gamestop exclusive, which doesn't exactly apply to anywhere in the world. Oops.

Same thing at the one in Kingston, the Sony rep was there and he knew nothing other then RE stands for Regular Edition. I just preordered the LE since it was the same price. on there site it says you get the 20 car pack for free if you preorder so that's likely it.

I read somewhere that Play Station Plus members get one extra car, a 15th Anniversary designed Nissan GT-R Nismo GT3 N24 which is the car from the GT Academy demo. I can't look for the site where I read it at the moment due to my piece of 🤬 phone. I'll look for it once I get home.

Addition:
I believe three blue suits also.

i want to start with nothing but a couple grand and a smile on my face... lol

really though, it takes the majority of the fun out of the game when you start with a bunch of powerful cars and a million in the bank.

Just like old times
