There's no section for Gran Turismo 7 on the forums, so I posted this concept here.
After two hours of work, I feel this concept is worth showing. Please leave feedback below :)

Gran Turismo always had a single car on its cover. Given that Kaz has previously stated that the next GT will have sport mode as an integral part rather than the actual focus of the game, GT7 would probably also revert to a single car cover without the driver

That's my thoughts on it. But even then your work is amazing, I love it :)

Undecided. I'm thinking the second chapter of Gran Turismo, will have a worded title, other than a number(and not "Seven" :mischievous:).

I think I've seen a thread like this before. So, we've seen a C7 and Megane grace the covers. Two AMG cars. ZR1 on GTPSP. The 996, S2000, Acura CL Type-S, Ford GT, Ferrari 599 and Concept GT-R in between.

2 Honda Motor Company cars
2 Mercedes-AMG
2 Chevrolets
1 Porsche
1 Ferrari
1 Citroen
1 Nissan
1 Renault
1 Human avatar
1 mystery car(fill in the blank, if anyone knows what it is)

The Acura was a weird one. It wasn't a special, significant or a legend-ary model, like the other cover cars. However, Honda's expertise in making fwd cars, made sure it could sit at the table with the big boys. Unfortunately, didn't translate in the game.

Good idea, I personally like the Porsche one as I think we have a new one in the game, and it's the first time we've had Porsche in a numbered Gran Turismo game (unless something happens of course)

Thanks :D

Shouldn't it say PS5? I seriously doubt that gt7 will be a ps4 game.

The trouble is, I have no idea what the PlayStation 5 cover will be like, so I guess we'll have to see.

There is no GT7, it was stated long ago in an interview with Kaz that 1 to 6 was chapter 1 and finished and GT Sport is the start of chapter 2. So my prediction for the next title will be something on the lines of GT Sport 2 or GT Sport Evo.

I think I heard there will be no likely be no GT Sport 2, but I'm not sure.

Old version.

With the 7 being in italics, rounder edges in number 5 to match the PS and having only one car behind, or the driver (like the GTS cover).
Also the VR text should be in left and could've been easily copy-pasted from the current GTS cover.

Amazing work after all, I have to admit that!
Very well done.

YES!! GT7 is the GT I'm waiting! Since it seems there most likely won't be a GT Sport 2, I'm more than excited! However, I won't get it at day one though.

Btw, awesome cover art! Donno why FM and GT stop making colourful logos to begin with...

Sony is a company. Therefore, it lives from economic exploitation and affirmation in the market. It is independent of the pashion and the religiosity of its fans.

So I do not rule out the possibility of GT7 coming in mid-2019 or 2020.

GTS may actually be a Prologue version of the current generation.

GT7 would arrive with the same elements of GTS, with addition of classic mechanisms of the series, besides iconic circuits and present and modern cars.

Why?

Because the installed base of the PS4 is more than 90 million users. Sony needs to exploit this better. Launching GT7 only on PS5 profit will be lower, significantly.

Very good work!

I am very much looking forward to the next installment of Gran Turismo but I do hope it comes out on PS4 as I made a vow some time
back I would not buy another new console due to the expense.

However given I think GT Sport sets a really impressive standard for level of graphics/car quality if PS5 is able to do this and it looks more
realistic then I will part with my money, I just hope the next console allows us to play older PS games on it!

Ford GT, Merc SLS, Vette C7.

These were all absolutely hype automobiles and rightly became immortalized on GT cover art.

The Cayman?... I just don’t see it. It’s simply a hardtop version of the cheap, entry level car that Porsche released (with a twisted arm) to avoid bankruptcy. Driving a 300hp poor-man’s 911 doesn’t HYPE Gran Turismo in the same way that a Ford GT did in the early 2000’s.

IF GT7 were to come in the next year or 2 (which I dont think it will) I would expect to see something like.. Corvette C8, Lotus 130, WEC Hypercar, etc. Something new, exciting, not unlike anything you’ve seen 1000 times before.

My .02

Don't forget to put the Aston Martin Valkyrie in that list. And didn't you mean the Lotus Evija when you mentioned the 130?

Im pretty sure the car on the cover of next GT game will be a 2020/2021 LeMans spec hypercar.

At this point Id guess Aston Martin - Red Bull valkyrie or valhalla. Or what ever new partnership they announce in new york.
