In Civic FK8 the driver always steets with one hand until the last gear is engaged. From version 1.0 to now :)
A lot of cars have the same thing with one arm on the wheel. Polyphony have too long of a "gear coming up, put hand on gearstick" window in my opinion. Maybe they think a shorter window would be distracting. Maybe an option to go between them if possible.

Theufcveteran,
Thank you for your reply.

I think it's just a matter of setting some parameters. Everything works, because the hand does return to the steering wheel, just a little too late.

I wonder if this is also a recurring problem in cars other than the FK8:
"During time trials, it's impossible to flash the headlights of this car."

I woke up to return to Gran Turismo after a short break again, because this update did indeed add a new engine to the Civic. Support for this game is slowly coming to end.

Yes, it should be something they could adjust. Hopefully they do because it does look a bit unnatural.

I may well be mistaken but in race cars the arm appears to go quicker back to the wheel, in road cars it lingers on the stick for ages (and karts)?

Doesn't seem like it's been mentioned here or anywhere, but the A70 Supra's default side decal seems to always disappear whenever I make the camera face its side with the right stick during races. It does appear normally during replays, weirdly. I noticed this from a few months ago and it seems like it has yet to be fixed.

That might be true indeed, I forgot about race cars with gearsticks, was thinking of paddles. Will check - I'll take your word for it though, very likely could be the case. Definitely in road cars it takes a while.

I want to report a bug: I own the '18 GR Supra Racing Concept, got it gifted by a roulette, but it looks like i never owned. If i go to the dealership, it doesnt appear "Collected" and when checking the car encyclopedia, its like i never owned it, but its just sitting in my garage. Nothing important, just weird.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but it seems like the FJ Cruiser is FF and not 4WD? I took it off-roading and only the front tires spin. The rears seem to do nothing

Where’s the majority of the torque going? Have you got an adjuster installed?

All the torque is going to the front and no I don't have an adjuster installed. Assuming the car is in 4High like how it's listed as 4WD, the front and rear wheels should spin somewhat together. But even if you launch the car or take it off-road all the work is done by the front wheels.

The newly–added Mazda Spirit Racing Roadster 12R '25 has a roll cage that can be painted in the Livery Editor. However, painting the roll cage has no effect on the car's appearance.

Please click on the images to view the full size screenshot

As the roll cage appears to be identical to the one used by the Roadster NR-A '22, I wonder if the NR-A's roll cage not being able to be painted is also a bug.

Additionally, in the Livery Editor, the default camera positions for the 12R when projecting from the front, rear, and roof are off–centre, being slightly to the car's right.

The red line on the car's body depicts the camera's default position, and the blue line depicts where the centreline should be. The purple line on the car's bonnet and windshield banner are properly centred, represented with a purple line in the above picture. There are other cars with this centring issue, although I only know of the Giulia GTAm as an example.

I hope these issues can be resolved when the car is updated to allow for tuning and disclosing its specs, because the 12R is fantastic fun when being driven.

I just updated the Gran Turismo 7 file on my PS4 slim after returning home form overseas. When playing the weekly races, the race starts but all the opponents cars appear to freeze on screen on the grid. The game clock keeps running as I can see the fastest lap times appearing even though the cars remain frozen on screen. I can keep doing my laps until the end of the race and the game allocates my final position based on the game clock. Also, the weekly challenge races and the daily marathon awards were not given to me. I did report this to Sony and did all the recommended things. I even reinstalled the game which took a whole day to download at over 112GB. Now it's even worse. The frozen cars on the grid are no longer ghosted resulting in violent collisions.

Does anyone know how to report the bug to Polyphony? I can't find a way to do so.

You have an internet connection issue...resolve that and this issue will go away, the clue was the abnormal long time it took to download the update file...

Thanks for the quick reply. I checked the speed and it's nothing out of the ordinary. I'm getting about 8 Mbps up and down. Par for the course. I just played a bunch of online races on NFS Heat and it worked fine with 5 or 6 other racers. Unless they changed something with the 1.63 update, I'm not sure what's up. When I played the weekly races my connection showed green and yellow bars only. I've had no issues even playing with a single red bar, in the past.

Personally I’m shocked you can run online at 8Mbps and am hoping that’s a typo. Not sure where you live but I’ve not seen internet that slow for maybe 20 years. This is average for me in the UK. My wife’s office has over 900mbps.

However the ping is the more important aspect:

Hi thanks for your reply. No, it wasn't a typo. I've never had a problem running at even 5 Mbps. Everything worked fine on my end as far as GT7 was concerned. I did take the console into the living room and plug in the LAN cable which was getting 132 Mpbs with a ping of 11 ms. The same issue persisted, unfortunately. I think I'll have to go buy a PS5 at this stage. There's also nowhere, that I can find, to report this to the developers. Maybe they no longer support the older low spec console, which is fine. Cheers and thanks again, fellas.

It could be the wireless of the PS4 (not sure what it is, n/ac?) but if you’re getting over 100 with a cable, maybe you’re right at the end of the WiFi range or getting conflict from a neighbour.

Thanks Jono. I've given up trying to sort this out. If it didn't work with the LAN cable, it must be something else other than connectivity. Time for a PS5, me thinks! Cheers mate!

There's more to connectivity issues - and a grid of frozen cars is a classic sign of it - than bandwidth...

Thanks mate. I'll give it a read!

This issue relates to changing your console's clock or logging into different consoles set to different time zones. I suspect that if you're repeatedly uninstalling and reinstalling the game (which really is a second-to-last resort and shouldn't be done before most other avenues are exhausted; your other issues simply didn't necessitate this) you might be triggering it.

Update: Thank you all for your advice. The issue seems to have resolved itself at about 8:30pm tonight. I was able to play the Spa Weekly Race B with a full grid, no glitches. I tested it again with the Daytona A Race. I was able to win that one. Cheers and all the best.
