Loving the Nismo R34 Z tune! Sound different vs the Vspec II also, the bov sounds nice on and off throttle with the flutter. The engine is great and the car handles well.

Someone who took a look at how much they go for in real life nowadays. And that 's three years ago already.
But I'm not buying one in real life now, am I? I'm buying additional virtual toys for the toy that I bought 3 years ago, whose value is linked to predatory pricing practices, not real world value. In the real world, IF I were to buy one, I could keep it for a year and then flip it for a profit. That's why they have these high values.

Please point me to the auction house where I can sell my skyline for a profit? Oh right, there isn't one 🙄
Funnily enough i didn't pay anything in real money for it. Oh now I see why, I've actually played the game every now and then and had about two million credits in weekly tickets alone.
Funnily enough (as you say), I haven't paid real money for anything in the game either. I ACTUALLY play the game daily, have about 10 million credits sitting there. Your condescending tone, suggesting that I lack in game resources, and that it is somehow something to be ashamed of, doesn't change the they have employed predatory pricing strategies for their vehicles.

These are done by PD?

Is the Nürburgring BBQ smoke new? Never noticed it before but not a big user of the ring
Always been present during races.

If I'm not mistaken, they've done something similar in GT6 but its just more apparent and to a far better fidelity (Which you'd expect given the massive difference and years in hardware)

I fear somebody messed up the audio mixing for the gtr, it's much too quiet compared to other cars. For example driving next to an AI driven one, mine is much quieter, that's with the racing exhaust and with player/opponent sound balanced equally in settings. It's louder in replays as well.
+ 1 BUG
At this point i'm beginning to suspect we won't be getting new tracks until GT8.
When Xiaomi comes, a new circuit will appear.

Yeah the N-one bodykit does have a very ‘city turbo’ feel to it.. therefore this seemed appropriate to make :)

Not 100% accurate but still…

While I often side with you, I believe you are very much in the wrong here.

That said (and I'm willing to learn) where are the posts on this forum (by anyone) where people are upset a 1962 Ferrari 250 GTO can be purchased for fewer than 51 million credits?
Please point me to the auction house where I can sell my skyline for a profit? Oh right, there isn't one 🙄
Mecum would say "right here!" but that assumes someone purchased a Skyline for less than it sold. That said, I can see where you're coming from. There isn't a place in the game where you can turn a profit from said car assuming it was purchased w/ credits.

I was coming here to say the same thing. Who thought 3million was a good idea? IMHO, there is no need for any car to be above 1mil. Maybe, MAYBE 5mil for some of the most desirable cars, but that's a short list.

Again, at $20USD/2mil credits, this car cost $30USD in real money. No thank you
Only if it's on Mars, because here on Earth, there's no country where they ask 30,000 for a BX 19 TRS

Im not playing this as much anymore, I might buy 3 Z-Tunes. One to keep stock, one to absolutely blow out and another to do full weight reduction and racing tires. I've found a lot of cars are golden with just the last option.
Agreed. Same here. Some cars get the PP really jacked up with the weight reductions. Late model Ferraris come to mind.

Now this time Polyphony really outdid themselves with the Bodykits
Yes, honestly, before the update I wasn't positive... but when I saw the possibility of replicating the Carbon R and the Falken LM, I changed my mind. By doing this, they manage to put so many cars together and leave them to us to create. In my opinion, it's simply brilliant, especially with the "bodykit" they put on every car (highly underrated and revolutionary).

I think it's right that some cars have high prices, because they need to have a value within the game. I remember some cars in the past that I always loved, and I only drove a few of them because many of them were really expensive. Before, you certainly had the chance to win them as prizes, but some were specific, and the other top ones were rewards for Endurance races. I remember the Ford GT40 in GT5 very well. It always cost 8-10 million on the used market, and I never had the chance to afford it, but in my mind it always had that kind of value, and rightly so... because it's my favorite car... almost as if I were happy that it's worth so much, it gives me the idea of a sacrifice to buy something that others probably can't afford. When I got the GT40 in GT5, it was as if I had completed the game, and it took me a few years, but the satisfaction I got was worth it. Many complain about exorbitant prices, and I'm probably going against the grain, but I think the 8+ million cars add value to the game, and to the fantastic models in Gran Turismo 7. I don't own many of those over 8 million... because I wanted to dedicate my time to other things. I have 680 cars, including 8 Supras, 10 Skylines, 2 GT40s, 4 NSX JTCs, 5 Supras JTCs, 4 Skylines JTCs. If I see a 20 million Shelby in a lobby, honestly, I'm happy for that player... because obviously I don't have the desire to get it. In Forza (and Forza models make chickens laugh), there are cars that are only available for purchase, and it really sucks. It bothers me that not everyone can have the same cars, whether they cost a lot or a little, and GT is impeccable in this. The cars cost a lot, it's true, but EVERY player can get one, and in my opinion it's worth considering. (Anyway, just do 4/5 races in Sardinia, and you'll have one in 2 hours.)

That said, I can see where you're coming from. There isn't a place in the game where you can turn a profit from said car assuming it was purchased w/ credits.
Yes, exactly, and that is at the core of the value of these cars in the real world. Supply (very little) and demand (very high), so they go to Sotheby's or RM, etc, and they are bid upon. That's where their values come from.

In the game, every purchase is a loss, often 50%. It's just a credit burner.

Remember, most of us are the 1% in this game. We often have millions in credits. We can set gold times in the time trials and score 2 million without thinking about it. There's the other 90% that aren't so adept at accumulating credits, and those are where the whales live. Predatory pricing is a scourge in the industry at the moment and it bugs me. It relies on psychological quirks, like the obsessive need to get to 100% at any cost, literally. So, in short, when I see it, I get riled up.

Wait what car are you talking about?

I've notice the mist in the mornings before - at several tracks. Maybe I had seen it before and forgotten. Still can't stomach the ring in VR just yet #wimp
You're not a wimp at all. Everyone adapts and progresses at their own pace be it quick or slow.

Meanwhile, me? I can't even take my morning and evening autism meds without retching.

Finding it kind of bonkers that we can't upgrade the brake pads on the Nismo R34. Seems like a specifically strange thing to limit tuning on.

Is the Honda N-One meant to lose it's rear window tint when putting 'rear' 'type A & type B' options on, seems like that wasn't meant to happen. Why would you de-wiper and de-badge and also remove tint 🤷🏻‍♂️

It's intentional. Window tint is counterproductive in racing. There are quite a few vehicles that allow you to remove the tint.
