Just did a 6:49 lap on Nordschleife Stock SU7 Ultra with Racing Soft tires I was grinding my teeth the whole time, it was intense, I also notice that there's not much improvement of the PP going from Sports Soft to Racing Soft only 20-25 points more.
The current tire technology is not good enough to handle 1500+ HP with over 1,700 NM of instant torque fitted to a 2.3 ton EV.
I can't even imagine what BYD Yangwang U9 Xtreme will do to these poor Dunlop tires with over 3000 HP.

SU7's a pleasant surprise, that thing drives far better than what I expected, it proper rips and is lively whilst doing it. Lot of fun, but a shame the drive isn't accompanied by a howling engine.
I'm going to use this thing a lot more than I bargained for. Fast, fun, and I reckon it looks pretty good doing it.

Porsche is disappointing and I wasn't even excited for it, it drives so dead in BoP - absolutely nothing out of corners with it being 100hp down and 100kg up from stock. I hope they take another look at how they balance them one day because they all feel so lethargic.

I completed the car collection long ago and Im capped at 100 MM credits.
So now game credits lost its meaning for me and for that reason I dont bother changing liveries or saving setups over the same car.

I just buy severals versions of the same car for different tunnings or liveries.
Buying 6 Porsches seems absolute right for me too

Porsche GT3 R: I'm a serious racing car Englisher, don't drive with you clown shoes on!
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra: I'm an M5 but with 1000 extra HP and enough torque to tenderize your Dunlop Hard compounds and then sends you to nearest ICU if you think I'm boring just because I don't shout while the tires you gave me constantly are screaming out all kinds of noise and profanities.

I took the TC'R' to Spa for the WTC 700, but didn't even think about buying rain tires. Heavy downpour 6 laps in, but the FF drivetrain held its own until the rain subsided. I wouldn't have had a chance in a RWD car. Held off those that pit by 20 seconds.

I normally hate everything FF, but it saved my bacon today!

I like the Elantra and 911 but the update is a complete snooze fest… the engine swaps suck other than the TVR and there aren’t any new sophy tracks for custom races.

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is a good looking car. The idea to make it overpowered to give it some visibility was a good idea from a marketing perspective, but I'm not a fan of that kind of extravaganza. The SU7 standard would have fit better in the game IMO.

I don't like how the Porsche behaves, I failed to understand it. This is a bit of a disappointment for me.

The Elantra TCR is pure bliss.

So the picture for this new race shows the Xiaomi, but even with SH tires, 70% power and maximum ballast I can't get the car below 600PP.
Am I overlooking something? Did PD overlook something? Or are we seriously supposed to drive this car on comfort tires here?🤔

The Xiaomi AI in WTC 600 is a hilarious band-aid add on for bad AI behavior at the Nordschleife. Pretty sure it was included in that race to pose as a "challenge" for 600 pp exploit tunes.
Hard battle today, SU7 AI is diabolical in straights… but slowly in the corners. Don’t forget the nitro, 50% of the charge per lap to use only at the end of the lap and voilá! 🏁

Anybody knows if the new CE is as easy as the last two on the new tracks? They where so easy, you didn't even need to know the track well.
For me it was pretty easy, got all of them in 1-3 tries on controller. But I'm A+ DR so YMMV

When doing the SU7 Weekly Challenge, looking back in the rearview mirror, I can see the yellow interior of the car behind. When I use the look back button, I can’t see its interior. So weird.

Porsche 9111 GT3 R is an absolute dream to drive. I love it. My new favorite GT3 car in the game. Didn't test it with BoP enabled. Elantra N TCR is also a nice car but you notice it immediately that's it's a FF car. Understeering car behaviour. The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra feels nice to with racing hard tires (didn't test soft tires or sports tires).

All in all a very nice update car wise. Happy with it. Thanks Kaz!

I drove all three cars last night and the biggest surprise was the SU7. How does it handle soo well? I thought it would be a large, oversized boat of a thing with too much power and not enough grip. The pitch and roll control is incredible, the brakes are more than sufficient and the acceleration is seemless. It doesn't feel that fast but when you look at the replay camera, you realise that IT IS. What a landmark achievement for the automotive world. Going from phones to a world-beating sports sedan within the space of 5 years is unheard of, yet Xiaomi has done it. Wow. Oh yeah the 911 GT3 R and Elantra are both fantastic race cars that are fast, fun and refined. I think the Porsche sounds great.

After a long day at work I finally tried the new cars:

Porsche 911 GT3 R - Very good GT3, I am not sure if the difference with the RSR is as big as the one between the 296 and the 458, time will tell
Hyundai Elantra N TC(R): Best car of the update for me, but definitely PD needs to rework the Gr4 by Drivetrain (specially now than the Manufacturers cup only uses Gr.3 cars)
Xiaomi SU7 Ultra: Better than expected, second best EV in the game IMHO (only behind the Ioniq 5 N), stock can be tricky, but with weight reduction and a better suspension set up the car is more pleasant to drive, I want to try it with the power restrictor, i feel less HP can benefit the handling

So, you don't like a Chinese car to be faster than your favorites then.
It can only have 670 HP, and you don't like them making their cars as fast as it can be.
It's not overpowered, I think it's kind of underwhelming after 200 km/h, but it also weirdly picks up another kind of high gear after 270 km/h then accelerates like a freight train up to around 355 km/h, Their VTEC kicked in moment.
It's up to PD to and players to utilize the car not Xiaomi, every brand picked their best car to be in the game yet somehow you don't think a new brand that wants to prove itself don't deserve to be able to prove itself?
Imagine PD finally got the Porsche license and then proceeds to add as 914 as a first Porsche added in the game instead of a GT3 RS.
Or BYD with their M6 MPV.

Yes it's also very easy. Gold on first try, almost 3 seconds bellow the gold time on the full lap.
Even the ghost is rubbish, I was faster than him in a few sectors. There's even a turn where it completly misses the apex.

What was that ?

I just don't like heavy and super powerful cars, just as I don't like any modern VAG Bugatti, end of the story.

I don't get what you guys are on about with the Xiaomi. I did various races yesterday and I found it a terrible drive. Very slidey and scrapy and very prone to uncontrollable oversteer out of slower corners despite 4WD.

Pretty much this.

I also hate driving cars without gears. Both electric and CVT cars are terrible for me without option to set gear on corner.

I tried the new porsche after adding the high rpm turbo, racing soft tires and an iron dames livery around the nordschleife. My aggressive driving style usually doesn't go well with rear engine/drive cars but this car felt great and made fun :D

Yes welcome to being the wealthy 1% my brother.

It's certainly not a point and grip heavy EV like so many EVs in this game, that's what caught so many off guard.
But damn it's so fun and addictive to fighting keeping it planted and keep its weight transfer under control.
Makes that Chevrolet Corvette CX Concept feels tamed in comparison.
You certainly can't say this thing is boring, my journey to that 6:49 lap at Nordschleife last night was very fun I spent all night wrestling around with it.
Don't you dare treat it like that Porsche GT3 R or else it will kill you faster than its 0-60 time, you have to be precise and smooth with it.
