Wonder if Porsche will make a big deal about the GT3 R being included.

For the price here are my predictions:
Elantra N TCR: 450 000 - 500 000
Porsche GT3 R: 800 000 - 1 000 000
SU7 Ultra: a bit of an odd ball. From my calculations it should be worth between 160 000 - 200 000$ in Canada but I doubt it will be this price tag in gt7. I think it will probably have a generic 1 000 000$ price but I’m very not sure.

I'm fairly certain the car's value (from yuan to USD) is between 70k to 80k, so I doubt the Xiaomi will be over 100k Credits in GT7.

1 000 000 credits would be crazy.

I would say:

-Elantra TCR: 350K-400K
-992 GT3 R: 600k - 1M
- Xiaomi: 100K-150K

I may not use it much beyond my own curiosity tests, but I’m super curious to see how a modern TC platform handles in GT.

Sadly this is the best pic I have of one on my phone, I was just at Daytona for the full Roar+24 experience, and my understanding is modern FWD race cars are set up to be crazy twitchy for maximum rotation under acceleration. Might be a crazy car to throw into corners, but I want to see how it compares to GT’s FWD road cars and fictional race cars.

What's your point? A used TT Cup is rarely more than £20k ($27,500), but the one in the game is 350,000cr.

(and yes, I know that's the 8J rather than the 8S-based Cup in the game; a lot of series still run the 8J)

If the Elantra N TCR goes into Gr.4, it'll likely be 350,000cr too as that's the default price of Gr.4 cars.

You can find out details for some specific series of touring cars easily enough. Though the game doesn't allow for total adjustability.

This covers camber, toe and caster along with a load of useful information https://suspensionsecrets.co.uk/btcc-touring-cars/

Yeah, and when you buy a race car to compete you’re buying it new.

Here’s the Honda Civic TCR that competes with it:

I’m expecting the Hyundai to be BoP’d into Group 4, but I’d be surprised if it’s priced the same, given it comes from a racing class below IRL GT4. 200k-300k range seems right and realistically where it should be, but this is PD we’re talking about.

before bothering with new Sophy this or that they should give us an ON/OFF switch for rubberbanding in the custom races.
Go to "boost" and turn it off. That's rubber banding off. It's already there.

Unfortunately, the rubber banding is what makes them fast and fun. I think what you are asking for is a setting to make the AI faster, which I agree is something they should add. The "professional" setting only makes the random car selection more difficult, but the AI stays the same.

No, it isn't and no, it doesn't.

I am not asking to make the AI faster, I am asking to be able to turn the rubberbanding off completely on races I am making, so I know what I am doing. I want my races to be natural and not artificial and, frankly, pointles: it is not racing when the AI gets to be unnaturally 5 seconds faster a lap so it can catch you again to manufacture a excitement that isn't there, completely ruining your performance in the process.

You're missing the teeny tiny detail that Gr.4s are 350k, dont think there are exceptions on that like there are in the Gr3 Class
The exception at this point it has been the Alfa Romeo 155, but is a legendary car, I can see them going for a 400K price considering is the most modern Gr4 car and thar has won several races/championships (including Nurb24 on its category and the Super Taikyu championship)

For the 296 the price should be for being a Nurb winner (similar to R8 LMS 2015 that is most expensive than the evo car)

and more no sound cars that doesn't even should be on a racetrack, yet alone on the roads/streets.

Plenty of sound to me.
i haven't even played the "new" update....just because it's the same all over agin...menu, scapes, ev-cars,
So you intentionally ignored the Spec III update (The one that literally features 3 returning cars from "when gt was gt" along with multiple features other then just scapes and menus) because "its the same all over again". Somehow I doubt you actually played to begin with if you managed to miss a car as big deal as the Espace F1 from again "when gt was gt".

Again, turn off the boost. The AI won't be "5 seconds faster" a lap or whatever. That happens when the boost is on. It's boring, but that kind of obvious rubber banding will be gone. Important note, make sure you aren't the one going slower.

Did they fix it? Last time I checked, the best option was to set it on weak.
Setting it to weak increases the competition and gives them a MAHOOSIVE boost if they fall behind (like after a pit stop). Turn the boost off/no boost will let you drive away from them. Some random driver at the back of the pack might do a hot lap, but none of them go any faster than you can. They won't do some random lap 5-6 seconds faster than the overall pace.

Personally, I leave the boost on weak and skip the pitstops instead.

About possible engine swaps, I’m thinking the AMG GT3 V8 for the Vantage 2018. Makes for a good AM Vantage GT4 car with the aero parts.

I must say I am strangely excited for the SU7. As always I am looking forward to the engine swaps
