If it ever comes to fruition I'd only expect a small handful of the very best players to qualify for it.

So yeah 99.999% of the playerbase has no chance whatever happens with it

The whole idea of the licence was an affordable way for Joe public to be able to enter FIA certificated races. Pay an annual subscription to them. And go and actually race in real cars. Ffs

There's a LOT you would have to do to be able to be race on race tracks you realise? You can't just turn up with a 'Fia Digital License' and expect to suddenly be allowed on track.

I do and am willing. This was supposed to be the cheap way for kids to get into motorsports as said in the article. So parents won't have to work 3 jobs and remorage their house, just so young people have a chance to go race.

Read an interview with Kaz and that's what was said. Sorry no links but I'm sure it's there.

No pay actual money, get a license and go race.

Not yet. It's still in the FIA's plans though, at least as of the Paris World Tour back in February.

That'll be a no. Aside from the fact this requirement hasn't been mooted anywhere (nor have any requirements), the point of the Digital Licence would be to replace the theory test component you'd normally require as part of gaining your regular racing licence. It'd simply be a case of GT Sport replacing the classroom where you learn about flags and marshals.

That’s pretty comical considering we’ve never seen anything other than green, blue and yellow flags.. and people don’t even respect the yellow flags

I suppose black or red flags aren’t really needed given the way the game/races are set up.
