With all of the rain teasing with wet tires and PD measuring the speed of windshield wipers, would be massively disappointing if there was no rain. And if there is, hopefully it's for all time settings.
Why realistic visual damage if you have fakes damages consequences. If you crash at 100 kmh in a guard rail or even a lot slower, you will not be able to drive your car further.
In my opinion , damages consequence on drivability are too few even at 100% . If they were the same as in real life , perhaps people would think two times before trying something stupid during an online race. If you don t have almost any accident , proportionally the same as in real life racing conditions , then no need of realistic visual damages.
Just my 2 cents.
I still hope to see a "hero car" more recent. Why not the new Mercedes or even the Bugatti Chiron? Given the strong links between Poly and Bugatti, I'm surprised that Poly wasn't the first game to feature this car.
If it's a PlayStation Germany event I see it as being more of the same. Anything truly new will come from TGS and/or a worldwide press preview of a close to final build.
