Agreed, rallying is easier since the update but still shouldn't really be in the game! Would rather have more real world or even some classic tracks back than the rally stuff they have included!

If only they could have turned the time associated with the rally cars/track into the Isle of Man TT course. The Nordschliefe really needs another long distance track companion.

Hi there, I'm back again! :D I wasn't online for awhile! (Please don't be angry)

I would like to ask about the 1.06 update. How's the "New" Physics? Is it worse or a bit better?

EDIT: Nevermind, I found the answer in the physics thread.

Oh yes! I totally agree, an amazing track. I do like the Green Hell, but the Isle Of Man TT course might even be better than that.

I'd rather have the 8 to 10 normal tracks they could make in the same time period.

I had so much fun in the Daily Races at Brands yesterday, mainly because I seemed to be the only person to do each race without having to pit... it was clearly faster given to make sure you could pit and still keep track position you had to be something like 2.5 seconds a lap faster than someone fuel-saving. I think I did 4 races yesterday and won 3 of them, the only one I didn't was because I got roughed up by some idiot drivers in that early period in the race where the cars who are going to pit are much faster and just barged past me...

I just didn't get why no-one else seemed to think of doing the same... its ten laps, why wouldn't you at least try to stretch the fuel out?

different cars might use different amounts of fuel. My friend using the 650 ran a race full lean and ran out of gas during the front straight, approx. 150 yards from the finish according to him. I thought about trying it but I didn't trust the mustang lol

Its possible with the Mustang, just need to lift and coast more. I used the Mercedes AMG GT and the Mustang for one race and the Mercedes was a lot easier and I was able to even turn the fuel mix up to 4 or 5 for the last couple of laps, the Mustang was a lot tighter on the range...

Its not just about the fuel map, its about your driving style. Don't ride the throttle anywhere its not absolutely necessary, lift off the throttle before braking zones and use the momentum to carry you into corners, shift earlier in the rev range...

I usually only get one race per day, two if I'm lucky. I started 19th because I signed on with 4 minutes to spare and got one lap in for qualifier. Finished 10th so I think I did pretty well lol. Ran 3 fuel, pit at lap 6, fuel to 85%, then ran 1 the rest of the way, finished with .1 fuel left haha that was a close one. A Porsche was gaining fast, made me nervous. I love races like that where strategy comes into play.

Finishing with just enough fuel to get you over the line means you played your particular strategy perfectly, as you didn't use any extra time in the pits putting in fuel that you didn't end up using. Mine just happened to be not to pit at all, as I knew I could gain back the 20 odd seconds it took to pit on track.

Sooo kind of a first world problem, I know people call PD perfectionists and suchlike but on the Alfa Romeo Mito the front numberplate isn't straight on the mounting bracket behind, That's gonna drive me nuts.

See? Even Liberace was straighter than that is.
It's straight, just angled with the pointy nose of the car.

Would someone be so kind to remind me how to change my avatar on the My Profile page in GTS? I did so once, but can’t seem to do it again....

Quick question - when pressing the brake what does the red colour mean? If you take a look at the bar that fills depending on how hard you hit the brake, there are always 2 colours - white and red mixing together, so what does the red mean? I assume this is how much the ABS has kicked in, but I'm not 100% sure. Also, if the brake bar is filled up to the max (no matter what % is red and what % is white) - you've hit the brake to the max, right?

when you open My Menu there is a little "gear" icon in the upper left corner, right next to your pic, press on it and from there you can select on your picture and choose a new one

Ahhh got it. Thank you:cheers:

How does one edit the auto welcome message? And can I save custom preset messages?

I wonder if the Gr.3 Beetle Road Car will look considerably different to the race car. Hopefully it has a better headlight design than the current one. :yuck:

I said I'd pass on the Cobra because it was too expensive. Oops... Somehow managed to make a fortune doing circuit experience and bought the car. I didn't think I could make so much money so quickly, but I did. The amount to buy the Cobra is very costly for what seems like very little car, but it has soo much more character than anything I've driven. It grips like a 60's car should, and makes life difficult for you. Driving it is not straight forward. People who haven't touched Project Cars will think that this car is broken, especially if they played GT6 for years. You are fighting the car constantly, and it wants to kill you. Even on a relatively easy track like Willow Springs. No car in any video game has been so physical for me to handle -rarely are you not handling the wheel in order to keep it on the track. Complete contrast to the 919 I drove a little while ago. Also, best sound in any Gran Turismo game. Maybe better than some sounds in Project Cars 2. Thank goodness PD are actually starting to make V8's sound good, it was one of the major gripes I had with previous GT games. V8's sounded awful.

Did anyone do a side by side comparison with the GT6 Cobra and the GTSport Cobra in terms of modeling?

I just bought a Pro and 4K TV but I can't get GT Sport to display in 4K. As soon as I start the application it changes to 1080p. Netflix and Destiny 2 display in 3840x2160. I've tried doing the display assistant in game and even though it says at the end I have a 4K HDR tv it remains 1080p. Both the tv and pro are set up do 4K. Anyone experience this or have any tips. Thanks.

Did you choose to prioritize framerate by any chance? AFAIR when I did that while I was using 4K in the PS4's settings, GTS switched to 1080p[0].

Another possibility might be that the PS4 considers HDR at 4K impossible. Maybe check the PS4 and TV settings for that.

[0] But still only played replays at 30 fps... So I changed to 1080p in the PS4's settings, in order to enjoy 60 fps replay goodness. Not sure if that bug has been fixed in any of the updates since then.

Does anyone actually know when this "December" update is being released with the new cars and GT League??

I too am looking for a proper Super Taikyu grid to assemble.

How about this? The placement looks pretty much the same to me as in game :

Any word on city hatches for DLC? I'm itching to make some liveries and finally do a race series.

There is first gen Suzuki Swift Sport coming in next update. Maybe the rest will follow.
