I am, like so hyped yo.

@TrevorPhilips Yeah I had a "pleasure" releasing fresh build of software (In hopes of fixing server errors) only to get new errors because of unexpected load(But that is a different and unrelated story).
And that's just me, PD and GT itself is far more complex I can't imagine what kind of validation/testing process they go trough. Sometimes It is harder to make a demo (That's why we see less of them these days) then a full product.

They even mentioned that each day they PD brought a new version of the "demo".

A new version of the "demo" does not mean it's the current version of the game. As Shinu explains quite well.

I'm somewhat hyped. I'm gonna get it for sure (probably Steelbook because I'm a sucker for those and it'd look great next to GT6 AE). Not surprised it's disappointed people, I'm just keeping the thought in mind that it's PD's first venture into a new system that is very different from the PS3 that they have been working with for a long time.

I think I can see RUF, so Premium RUF's finally?
There is definitely a RUF logo, but I don't think we can say what Premiums RUFs are 100% confirmed

Oh quick question y'all, Does anyone think that PD will implement the flashing/flickering tail lights that LMP1 and GT cars do while decelerating? Or is it probably a lost feature we'll probably never see? I have yet to see 1 racing game do that yet.
It's not when they decelerate, it's always in the rain or at night, and I doubt it because it is only on newer LMP and GTE cars and so far this game has none of those.👍 But yes, that would be a cool feature.

I bet that went down well in the age of internet rage.

Just because PD does not have a game out for the PS4 doesn't mean that they have not had access to the PS4 development kit. Just as PD likely had access to the PS3 dev kit before that console was launched.

Here is what EU's collector edition has.

  • Mercedes-AMG GTS 1:43 scale model (with exclusive paint job)
  • Gran Turismo Sport PlayStation 4 Game
  • $2,500,000 in game credits
  • Livery Sticker Packs
  • 3 x pre-order packs
  • Racing Helmet Chrome
  • PS4 Avatars (60)
  • Steelbook case
  • Apex booklet
  • Special Packaging

Hope they have that for US...

Indeed, they have been working with the PS4 for over three years. The console was announced in February 2013 and Kaz had clearly already had experience with it by then, since he appeared in the promo video explaining how it was like a blank canvas. It's pretty conceivable they working with early PS4 models in mid to late 2012.

Oh, Haha my bad. It does make since though seeing as I do only see the lights flash during rain and at night. Only time I saw it during the day was a Fuji last year. (And it was pouring) lol So your point is valid.

But it would be cool! would love to see that implemented. If it's not, doesn't really matter, still gonna be a great game nevertheless. :D

They have probably started working on GTS 5 years ago and this is what they've done :(

I got a PS4 3 months ago, I only have 2 games (DriveClub and Uncharted 4) and they are really mind blowing visually. GTS looks like GT6, how is that possible  The tracks seem lifeless as always :guilty: I was expecting a rainy night on the nordschleife, cockpit view in a GT3, noise of windscreen wiper, a lot of tension, then a crash... the human drama.

Even physics and netcode(laggy on LAN:cheers:) seem to be the same as GT6. The way cars are moving on replay doesn't feel right, the way they push each other seems wrong too. The game is supposed to be about racing, racing is about pit stop (repair, tyre, fuel) but instead of this we've seen the same bull**** as the one you can see in every GT6 public lobby...

Livery editor and scape photo mode are fun but this is clearly not the most important for a racing game...

Exactly this. I was expecting that. Real human drama, but it seems that Kaz is happy with this. I don't know, I'll wait for the final game, but this is the first time I'm doubting of buying the game (I doubt with GT6, but my love for the franchise was greater than my doubts).

I wonder if they count Evo X as 1 or 4 cars from 137 car list. It has stock, dirt, Gr.3 and track/cup version. I hope its 1 but you never know with GT

I share the same concern. My gut tells me one counts as four. Each are still dang pretty to look at.

Can't wait to test it in the dirt!

Well, now we know why they called this the final beta test event anyway.
Where did you hear that?

Does 'super premium' cars in GTSport mean that there will be non-super premium (only premium) cars in GT7 ? ... If all the cars in GT7 will get the full update treatment then why do you need to categorize the cars in GTSport as 'super premium'. They already said that the cars were re-done from scratch with full interiors. That should be enough. But to say these cars are 'super premium' make me wonder.

Just a figure of speech since everyone was worried the standards would return. It's like saying "no, no standards. They're all super premium" to let you know they're all incredibly good looking. :p

Ok now I'm really excited. I hope they do what PCars did and include the 911 in racing trim. I love what they did to the 4C it looks awesome. The museum mode look great too.

After seeing the footage...i can understand why they decided to skip the public beta. I'm very concerned, going into defense mode right from the get go is not what its supposed to be - 4 months before going gold. Especially considering the fact that the last 20% of polishing/bug fixing leading to the release usually take about the same time the first 80% took.

My prediction: November 15th is not gonna happen. The far from ecstatic public reaction will make Sony to open the wallet and give them more time to catch up to the competition. Otherwise they have to release GTS as a 'ongoing' Project, reflecting improvements that will eventually lead to GT7.
