I guess it's safe to say that there will be no standard cars in GTS and future Gran turismo games. PD may be update some of those standard as fully modeled cars. Sony is pushing for VR compatibility, it would be awkward driving in a VR with no cockpit at all, lol.

This is sound logic, but considering their timed races end when you cross the line not the leader ... My first thought it is they'll make those cars not work with VR. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

All cars in GTS are going to be "super premium" that's why there is so small amount of cars in GTS

I keep hoping to see some new announcement of a confirmed release date sometime soon for GTsport.
Was supposed to be early this November but alas. Had done buy my PS4 about 2-3 months ago in anticipation. It on standby.

Is it me or is the FOV in Chase Cam mode a little closer to the car now? If it is then I'm liking it. Makes the car look less like a toy.

I think that they have, actually. The car definitely takes up more of the screen...

I Played it Yesterday at Milan gamesweek, quite solid build. 3 laps at brands hatch with alfa 4c. I Place my Bet on a release between March and May. I also preordered it

Good sound, and the blind spot indicator on the dash is a nice touch, haven't noticed that before.

I like how the AI is driving that Charger.

Only Sony themselves stopped taking pre-orders, other retailers will always take pre-orders for any game. You can pre-order games like Final Fantasy VII Remastered at Amazon despite it being years away. They don't charge you until dispatch though, obviously.

Wow, the engine sounds improved a lot. One of the best looking racing game (Up there with Driveclub and FH3).
Hopefully they'll show new things and VR at PGW.

The dash is quite redundant having double speed and rev counter. AI is horrible, bump sound is tragedy, also tyres sounds funny. Engine sound is OK, maybe downshifts are too deaf.

IT seems you can change the map into something other (maybe 2D/3D map)

Actually it sounds quite nice. Just wished we had the sound from cockpit view too.

You know it's probably because of the tyre compound ,and you can probably change the sound settings for that ,so it shouldn't be that big of a deal

Engine sounds are far better than anything in any previous GT game. The tyre squeal is the same old generic nonsense and the contact sounds are somehow even worse. So, positives and negatives.

Where? It was the same old GT6 rubber banding, go through the entire field in two and a half minutes like they're not even there and then suddenly they're all over your bumper. If they do get back past though, they go back into docile mode.

Yeah I'd hardly call that "fighting". It went down the inside and then promptly gave up on the exit.
