What brake bias and force are people running? Or should it be kept quiet? I was playing with it last night and seemed easier to get 34.000-100 each run just over 15 laps. Bags of time left in the last corner also.

A little shame Duratec is not doing this comp and hasn't even time to play GT5P I guess. I'm sure he would of done a 1'19.800/900 by now. The guy is mustard on a trek level.

This particular combo was not really a test of who is the best driver at the end of the day .. It's who has the best wheel and the most time and patience to run this crappy combo :lol: hours and hours and hours of tiptoeing a car around this track is mental torture, glad I jumped ship when I did ;)

Have fun in the next round guys and hopefully they wont give you a combo created by the Marquis de Sade again :cheers:

If I look the time I would say that it was perfect, but I can still see 0.15 in there.. so you're right.. but, my mate, that would be quite close to perfect lap... And when has that happened??

Exactly - you would need to be either very relaxed or a terminator or something.

Hi, I just joined gtplanet. I only found out about this competition a week ago, so I am finding it hard to get used to g25 and gt5 in one go. I've been able to improve my times every day until now. I did a 1.21.140 and am finding it very hard to beat, can anyone tell me from their experience how hard it was for them to go from low 1.21 to high 1.20.?

It took me a week, but it can also be done in an hour... Good luck!!! Brake bias can be changed if you map the buttons in options menu!! đź‘Ť
 
Hi Everyone, I know you all very busy at the moment.... Few hours left.... I'm stuck at work since this morning and I will not be out before 10:30 pm. Can anyone post the top 20 uk times please ..... I was 16 this morning , probably 25 by now. Thanks and good luck to all.

i also just dont see how this track and car/tyre choise has anything to do with reallife circuit racing....if it would be suzuka or fuji,i would take it much more seriously:):)

am now arround 15th in the rankings and dont have time to race untill 1 hour before closing tonight,and knowing i will have some drinks tonight......forget about it:indiff:

I went round and round for a week doing 1.21.3's, couldn't get past it at all.
Went on today and did a 1.21.1...I was actually 0.2 up again a few laps later but got too excited at the last corner :dopey:

So I would have been on route to a 1.20 for the first time!
Oh well, never mind...too little too late!

And yes I agree with Mr. P, it has been total torture!! :ouch:

I was sure it said on the title screen earlier that it finishes on the 19th, that's tomorrow isn't it?

Think this combo has made my brain shrink!

Edit: Sorry, just realised it's midnight tonight, I thought it said 23.00 on the 19th. Ooops
 
Thanks for the help lads. The brake adjustments would have been handy if I knew about it sooner. I was wondering how the ghost I was following was able to steer with the brakes fully on.

I'm only at this a week and the last two days have been torture, I can only imagine what it must have been like, doing this for over a month, trying to stay in the top twenty. Well done to everyone!

Brake balance...what brake balance ? Also why is oldbeanie driving all around the last corners in 3rd which is dog slower than 2nd and still doing that time ??

And chuffed enough with that I suppose!

1.21.1 with a T1 of 34.4....I can't tell you how much I hate that T1 section of the track.
Never have mastered it never would I don't think.

If anybody is really sick of it then go for a spin on the B class Eiger event. Just take a few laps round with the Evo IX.....oh joy! :) forgotten how good it felt!

i also take them in 3rd...its just faster if you take the corner with as much speed as possible...so not trying only to accelerate as fast as poss,but keeping the speed thru the corner as high as poss.....:sly:

I did not know too about the possibility to adjust the car while driving....so well done Davissi....very fast with standard car....if only we knew this before...anyway....

You could still get in, in the rules they said if some have entered who arent 18 or have cheated they would pick the next person down.

It's my own doing, I can live with it, I have a G25 but refused to use the clutch. I went paddles all the way, and without pausing. :dopey:
