The only thing keeping me from buying the PS Vita is the current price. I'm not willing to shell out that much money for a handheld console (Neither are many others) and it doesn't help that I can easily purchase a smartphone and get games for far cheaper.

My point is that some of the posts here (not on the survey) act is if they already know how long its gonna take and therefore already have this unfounded impression on how much development of a game, that hasn't even so much as been hinted at being made, will take away from GT6. Hence like I say, "Armchair developers". All I see is massive overeaction and nowhere has it been said if it will or will not be made yet people already think they got it figured out.

You act as if GT on Vita won't take at least two years to develop. Two years of work from a portion of PD that could be applied to GT6.

EDIT: I'm tired of all these people who think that games appear out of thin air. If it's produced, GT on Vita will require time and resources from PD. Because time and resources are limited for PD just like any other gaming studio, GT on Vita would delay the release of GT6. It's only common sense. Having part of PD spending time on something other than GT6 would force GT6 to be released later.

Again, video games don't appear out of thin air. They require time and resources.
