I'm thinking starting 7pm UK time. We will have 10min qualy followed by approx. 20min races (need judge number of laps)?

I will create a thread in the single races section. Any suggestions for cars welcome. Will use the track voting system to pick next track.

Empty box has his review out. I think because the hype this game generated, he has a problem with that. He says the physics model is basically "okay" or just alright. Im sorry and it may be my lack of play time on AC or Iracing but i believe its dam good. I just dont understand how anyone that has never drove a race car (as far as I know) can know so much how a car should feel. Sorry i know alot of people like him and i have been a subscriber for along time. But i just cant get over his Arrogance. I guess thats it I dont know but its something.

I think he and a lot of people automatically dismiss any talk of simulation as soon as the "game" tag, or game aspects, are included.

I understand that this game veered slightly in development towards a larger market and so "obviously its going to be watered down for filthy casuals". But if SMS kept the physics exactly the same but stripped it down to an iracing framework of racing, id wager it'd be a different story.

EDIT: I hadn't seen the vid when I wrote it, as its my casual nature, and I see I missed the mark somewhat having watched it.

I think some people are giving the game a hard time due to the fact the major review sites have been giving it some pretty good scores. I'll use IGN as an example, it got a higher score than both GT6 and Forza 5 and if we consider that the main simulators tend to get pretty bad scores or not reviewed at all by the major review sites it can leave some people a bit miffed.

I'm glad it's been developed to a larger market, the more people that play the better. While not everyone may be a clean driver it's still always a good thing to have a bigger player base.

Edit: just realised, with this and the Witcher 3 it seems that Namco Bandai are having a VERY good month!

guys, how do I set the fuel level before I go on track. Ive looked in the garage before race, in the pit in practice and dont see it. I only see how much i want when I go in for the pit.

It's in the tuning menu, not sure what tab though.

Remember whatever you set the fuel as will be used for practice & race, the qualifying will be used just for the qualifying session.

Made the mistake of setting my fuel to 20 for the practice and forgetting to put it back up when the race started. 5 laps later I needed to pit.

I need to have a practice as well, It's a very easy track to have a big accident on. It has some really nasty rumble strips that can make the rear end snap.
