Which has the best stock car setup, the Bmw M3 GT3 or the Audi R8 LMS? Have only done a handful of laps around Road America to learn the track and won't have time to fiddle with setups before tonight.
 
Don't think there is a thing to force pits bud was just asking incase we all agreed to do it

The Audi isn't too great on braking and I've found the stock setup to be a bit of a handful. The BMW however is an absolute beast, not the quickest on the straights but a very nice car.

Everyone last time was forced to pit for some reason that was 25laps, am not sure how it works to be honest.

We really need the option to have mandatory for online races, otherwise you can brim the tank and stick a set of mediums/hards on and laugh as you pass everyone that has to pit.

Road America seems OK on the tyres from when I've gone round but I don't think a set of softs will last the full 25 laps so I think whether it be for fuel or tyres there will be some pitting.

Last Sunday?

No, I didn't pit as I didn't think we had to, there was no pit bored or pit in over the 'radio',I don't think there is any option to set this I the lobby settings nor is there any record of number of pits in the race results.

Oh ok, right so there is no mandatory pit then, its up to you how you run your race 👍
 
Any times you guys want to share?! I feel kinda lonely driving silvestone gp in that Aston with nothing to compare. :)

I'm getting low 2:13's at the moment. Trying to break into the 12's.
 
Good to see we are still ago for today's race!! Any you guys want to send me a good setup, I'll buy you a cheesburger!!! :p
 
Haven't done any tuning myself yet. Need help in that area too. I hope for tuners in my tier.
 
After the reserves get there spots, if anyone else drops tonight. I would like to participate.

Got this terrible problem where my pedals tip over when I brake on this circuit :lol:
I have to move my right foot backwards on the plate of the pedals to save it.

Jeeez :p

Edit: I'll start from the back so I don't wreck someones race.

Sorry guys, got disconnected - Someone was also real laggy.

Also is there a bug with pitting? i was having a pretty good battle for 4th and 5th but got some damage so had to pit, afterwards my pace just fell away.

I then got taken out by a flying car which caused more damage so this time when I pulled into the pits I went into the pit menu and it had put me on inters! No idea why but explains my drop off in pace.

Guess I'm gonna have to start paying attention to the pit settings

I saw a lot of lag and yes there is something weird with pit stops. Even if you don't take tires it seems to adjust your pressures anyway. For me my rear tires were almost cold after I pitted so I had zero rear grip.
 
So did people drop out after a few laps?
 
I got disconnected when we started the qualy. Joined again but my view was forced to the one infront of the bonnet cam, where you don't see your car at all. Left again and when I joined once again I figured it might be my connection so stayed in the pits so that I started at the back.

Defo more lag amongst the cars this time compared to last sunday when it was only 10-11 cars and all Europeans, that time I did not see a single car lag.

Tho I must say that it was pretty awesome to see 14 cars on a trail ahead of you on the first laps when all the brake lights come on on the same time basically, also with that sunset in the background :D
 
Yeah the host had some problems to sync from what we witnessed but what a RACE.

I wish someone save the replay and makes it available on youtube. I did some nice passes inthe first 10 laps. Pretty proud of this first.

For the pits, The game save your strategy so you have to create one during practice.


We HAVE to practice before even on our one to setup everything
 
No, it says "left session" or something like that.
 
I'm sure I seen a "___ got disconnected" message in blue last night.
