@ Milouse:

That was a quick fix - but now there`s a new problem...

I wanted to take a look at the museum cards of a friend but the collection seems to be empty.

So I tried the same with my collection, logged out and went to my museum page and it was also empty.

http://www.mygranturismo.net/museum.php?id=4807

Note:

There is no loading of "Waiting for google-analytics" message at the bottom (using Firefox) when going to the museums page when I`m logged out.
But there is this message when I`m logged in.

Indeed, the solution to the first problem lead to this one. I've just fixed this too. I'm waiting for the third bug now :nervous:

Hi Powerdrome, i still have a bunch of missing images from you that are not online yet.
I have my own filters to see what is missing in the db ;-)

The Ford GT LM Spec II Test Car is listed under "Gran Turismo" manufacturer. Common mistake :) (Edit: sorry, didn't see Famine's answer)

Ford Test Car found... Sorry:crazy::crazy: i was setting up my garage after...:scared::scared: you know what...

Anyway I'm back and I would like to help you finish what we started:
which images are missing at the moment?

Has anyone noticed a difference in the UCD since the 1.06 update?

I seem to be getting the UCD updating with the same cars repeating over and over with each refresh - just a couple of subtle differences.
It seems to me that there is less variety which would either mean I have reached the "less variety" tour of the UCD rotation list or that they have tinkered with it in the update.

Any ideas?

I didn't notice this, my refreshing is normal.

hello milouse, yes i'm having probs with my email account today i'll write u from the other one

With the fresh new limit to trading set to 1 000 000 Cr worth cars in the game with patch 1.07, i plan to add a field to display that information on the garage comparaison page.

Also, every (or almost) PP ingame values have changed !
The bad news is i've just spent almost my entire day entering PP to the database (more than 680 cars), and one hour after i've finished to do that, PD is messing everything... :banghead:

PD really need to learn to communicate with community...👎

You are right Milouse, patch 1.06 came out after 4 weeks of waiting, introducing some news like PP. 1 week later is has changed or corrected, anyway thay should know that a community is behind the software, and thanks also to that comunity they sold 6 million copies.

... still waiting for in-champ'ship SAVE!!

that could be a problem because several users have reported that some cars near the 1 mil limit (such as the 970-980,000 range) cannot be traded. it appears pd id basing the value of the car off of 0 miles even if you bought the car used with a ton of miles on it

Indeed, i wrote a note on homepage about this when the patch was released. I was not surprise at all about the game using the internal price value, as it already do that for selling price and engine overhaul cost.

At least it makes sense and is coherent with their purpose:

stop duping valuable cars, we have to earn money racing and spend them.

PPL beginning the game now will have a hard work to build a complete garage.

Luckily I've just completed mine... i miss 2 models

It would have make sense to do that in the first patch, in november : this was both an obvious need and a very easy thing to do.
It would also make sense to tell this prior to patch the game : I've sent an F1 car to a second account to test the last week borrow feature, and the car is now stucked on that profile (i.e. lost) ; also some people may have sent a car to someone for a trade and will never be able to receive the agreed counterpart.

Could someone tell me if the "GT Academy" cars can be trade since patch 1.07 ?

To know this, you don't need to actualy send it, just start the sending process, and if, after selecting your friend PSNid you see a window asking to write a message to him, it means the car can be sent.

i tried the 370Z and the Gt-R specV, both can be traded

I'm noticing a strange listing in the garage:

These cars:
Chevy Camaro SS 10
Challenger R/T '70
CIVIC TYPE R (EK) '97
Lancer Evolution IX GSR '05
Cappuccino (EA21R) '95

doesn't show up the RM in the normal garage listing (after the mods).
only if i click on the car to view it full screen the name is added with the "RM"

Anyone with the same? it depends on any mod applied after?

Yes, the 'RM' is not taken into account in the list. This has always been like that in GT5.
Other cars may have different names in (ingame) garage list, opponent event car list, and car screen (!)

Thanks. "untradable" cars have now a background black color in both "my page" (where people usually land from external link) and garage compare (also known as Trading advisor).

This "on website coloring" is based on ingame internal invisible prices (which I used tracked), so it is more reliable than looking at a car price list.

So the "RM" is not showing in the name list just for those 5 cars? 'coz the other RMs are ok!?

Thanks Milouse great job!

What is that garage compare feauture, trying to find it in the db but i cannot find any??

When you go on someone's page while being connected, there is a special "NEW Car Trading Advisor" button that appears, if you click it you see side by side cars from both garage (his and yours). There you can choose between two modes, one showing all cars, the other (by default) displaying only cars than one, and only one of you own (hence the "advice advisor"). This mode also mask cars that can't be traded since 1.07.

This is a not very well known database feature, although being one of the most usefull for trading, I think.

Excuse me, again on the "RM" in the name listing:
I have all the 17 cars allowed to RM, I bought another 17 of those and applied RM.
In the garage listing the name changed showing the "RM", for all of them except for these:
Chevy Camaro SS 10
Challenger R/T '70
CIVIC TYPE R (EK) '97
Lancer Evolution IX GSR '05
Cappuccino (EA21R) '95

For those ones only if i click on the car to view fullscreen i see the name changed. Why?

Is there anything to correct it?

Only PD can fix this (and the CLK name), and it doesn't seems to be a priority for them. They probably even don't know about this - maybe the japanese version doesn't have the problem.

I guess i was not the only one in that case, as PD raised the trading limit until march 3rd.

It would be a good idea to trade the "black colored" cars in trading pages before the 3rd, then
