This is so exciting. We can finally see what they did with the physics. I have big expectations.

Exciting, yes. But I'm going to be cautiously optimistic. I'm not expecting iracing but if some significant ground has been made in the right areas I'll be very happy indeed.

Wow, that is so great news. I seriously planned for some time now to buy a ps3 on the 17th (getting money) and now today I'm reading this, just awesome.

If you do get a PS3, definitely pick up some sort of bundle (or even just a PS3) and try to trade the bundled game for GT5P, it's more than the demo, but it's really fun regardless.

You know, whats really the point of some of you guys even considering getting the game if all you'll do is complain. Its obvious you'll never be happy because even if they do include what you want, you'll still be the unhappy, nitpicky nutjobs you always are and will find something else not even worth mentioning to complain about.

👍 You are 100% right there. All I ever see on this forum whenever any news is released or a demo / prologue is released is people complain that iit doesnt have what they want. In my opinion if it was to be up to everybodies standards then the game would never be finished.

I'm one of those "GT4 with better graphics and online play makes me happy" kinda guys.

Anything else is just a bonus. 👍

Edit: directed @ RACECAR's post.

Im in there with you.

And if we are correct, the "section" of track is actually the F1 circuit, located inside Indianapolis. (new track)
Unless it's an old version, like the old Fujis, it will be the MotoGP track.
A few different corners and clockwise, instead of counter-clockwise.

Thx for the tip:) but played the game already through at my pal's house, and because GT5 isn't too far away, I'll wait for the real deal. ;)

Hahah you say that now.. But halfway through Janurary you might just pick it up just to tie you over for that month or so

he doesn't need too... he will be playing the demo at his pal's house ... until the real deal arrives... then there will be no more pals !! lol

You know what?

I'm not going to be able to play this demo, i'm not getting my PS3 until March, and my brother really doesn't like me taking up his harddrive space (Its a 40GB, and he's got ~2GB free.

Even if i deleted the MGS4 or RE5 gamefiles, which he doesn't play (not saves) he'll probably deny me the download, thats how mean he is.

I will kill for GT5.... :sly: Watch out brother *Gets carving knife from Kitchen*

Anyone else born on the 17th December? Two years ago I got the Japanese GT5 Prologue delivered on my Birthday, this year I get the GT Academy Time Trial!!! Woo Hoo, Kaz you rock!

If he survives that, you are so screwed.

In several posts you have refered to your brother. from what I have read he is really a jerk to you. Sorry for that man, you got it rough. Does he not like GT or just you?

Is there nothing else that you guys can unload from the PS3???
for example, music and video or photos... those things can be accumulated rather quickly!

With the news of the Demo coming, i have decided to clean up my PS3 harddrive this weekend as well... This has become a matter of urgency: I have a 80GB and it's full too (< 2GB left :p )
I have too many useless Videos from NFS SHift that takes too much space...
I am going to clear all that...

If really you cannot help your brother clean up his HD... i am sure you have a friend nearby you can go squat his pad to play the PS3... No?

EDIT:
dont kill for that... It seems English people are pretty hardcore when it comes to their video games...
just today... we are learning that Andy Murray got dumped by his beautiful girlfriend because the lad spend too much time PSing!
article here
Dont become another english to lose someone close because of video games...

Have a good weekend y'all

Won't this be just a 2 minute section of say, the Nurburgring - which to be fair, we're gonna get bored of playing after about an hour.

But it's a start I suppose.

Tsukuba was the best track in the whole of GT4, apart from Nurburgring.

:yuck: Tsukuba was one of the worst tracks ever. It's boring as hell. It's short. It's flat, there's no crazy camber changes. Not to mention the fact that they held too many races there.

Autumn Ring has a lot more character than Tsukuba. And it certainly can't compare to Suzuka, Infineon, or La Sarthe.

To me, Suzuka was the best track. I know it like the back of both my hands. :D

Well it's personal opinion really. It was one of the first tracks under World Tracks in GT4, and I used it as a benchmark for most of my cars, and really enjoyed it after awhile. There is no serious elevation changes or enough 'camber changes' but there were a few tricky corners, and it was somewhat short. It's not as long as Le Sarthe and it's more fun to keep a steady lap going rather than Suzuka or Infineon, both of which I have never really liked.

Tsukuba = best track after Nurburgring, drove it every day.

I'm not really sure if I drove it everyday but I did drive it often for a benchmark for most of my cars. The Nurb though I never really spent enough time on. However I ALWAYS tried to drift the last corner of Tsukuba and only succeeded maybe once or twice, but I'm confident if it were in GT5P I would never get tired of sliding it.

Tsukuba was my favorite track in GT4, I loved it. I could spend hours doing time attacks, inspired by the time attacks they actually perform there.
