cheers

GT5 Euro Release is..... Purely speculation at the moment...

There is no Euro release date yet, so keep on guessing. November is likely, but I would not be surprised to see an early December launch.

Well if you look at the time difference for Move it is actually being release in the EU before anywhere else.

I wouldn't imagine its going to be far off the US release.

The EU Playstation blog said they would clarify asap.

But I am sure it will be discussed over the next few days.

Will be pretty close to that in America I guess...
The first thing I'll do tomorrow morning is change my pre-order to a collector's edition:o I hope it's possible..

I just think its weird I know its an american conference an all but there is other countries besided the Americas,

Imagine what the Japanesse are thinking, left in dark by there own :)

Kind of a let down with more speculating to do now.

Who gives a **** about euro release, just import the damn game as soon as possible. :D Well, now we really have a game to import on a specified date.

Seriously, I was hoping for a worldwide release, and I can't understand the difference between US and Euro releases, regardless of that, there's a date and a place from which to obtain a copy of the game, and that's all that matters. :)

Well, aside from the different languages in Europe I don't see any reason more.

Grande jogo o do Brasil hoje, parabéns!

Correct, thus we don't need another release date speculation thread cluttering the board while there's a lot of new information to discuss instead.

I find it unlikely it will release in the UK on the exact same date, 2nd of November, as that is a Tuesday. I thought games were normally released on a Friday in Britain. Perhaps the 5th of November in that case? If it was, there would be some fireworks that night I can tell you...

After years of waiting, few days here and there hardly matter anymore. ;)

I agree 100%.

The reference to fireworks was an attempt at a bad joke which you would understand if you lived in the UK. We light bonfires and set off fireworks on the anniversary of a failed attempt by a disgruntled French bloke called Guy Fawkes to burn down the Houses of Parliament on the 5th of November.

EDIT: Perhaps you should change your sig to [Insert 100% unfunny comment by Lacto-1974 here.]

DO NOT TAKE THIS AS ANYTHING LEGIT..

But, In Australia, a website I sometimes order off, has listed GT5 for around 2 weeks, the release dates have not changed to reflect this mornings news though.

NTSC version 26/10/10 - Not far off the mark!

PAL version 24/09/10 - ONE whole month before NTSC, might be a sign?

Can we get a confirmation for a PAL release date please?

What gets me thinking, is that for the American show, they give us a release date. I wonder if we have bullied PD/Sony into releasing the game already? With other countries having a more broad date do you think it's up to SCEJ/SCEE marketing now? Or could they be finishing up last minute details (and preparing for spec1) satisfying the country that tends to speak/yell the loudest

Something else to keep in mind, even though the huge news, and big changes on the GT site (mostly to the US site) is the US site has had the GT5 section, for some time now, yet after the big announcement about GT5, the Japanese site, nor the Euro site has been changed to add the GT5 under the product tab

Play.com says 02/11/2010

A September release would be ilogical, because F1 2010 will be released that month.
Games in Europe, certainly in the UK typically launch on a Friday. So, why would GT5 be the exception? Give that the Friday before that date puts it into October, which is highly unlikely, I would suspect that if we are going to get a global release, we will get it on Friday 5th Nov. So, we could be having a *blast* in more ways than one ;)

Ok guys
Of course we need a final confirmation but the same trailer is on the UK official PD website as well as on the japan one.
We know the trailer is ending with November 2010.
Now the question is : Why they didn't say that ?
They love to tease us as long as it is possible? That's a chance. I really hope they are going to clarify this before the E3 is over.

Edited : Now it is on the Italian PD Website as well... I imagine they are updating the european ones. Considering they are giving everyone a clue with November 2010 they will be covered by confirmation requests.

I agree.

And always, every retailer has got their copies 1 or 2 days before a release date... :sly:

Most games in the UK are released on a Friday. Some are released on Tuesdays as well.
