Sarcasm gets lost over the intent, I reckon it is about time PD gave us more RACE cars now though...

It would be nice to have a 100 lap Indy NASCAR race as a Seasonal. Alas, PD doesn't seem to know how to tie the game to real life events when they happen.

We needed Le Mans DLC...

We need other stuff first. 1030+ cars is enough, what the fans want is
Updated Course Creator, with acute control over tracks and point-to-point tracks
Livery Editor, or at least Licence Plate Editor.
And finally, this would be awesome, more control over tuning. I want to adjust spring rate between left and right wheels.

There's a problem with what you just said. Saying "fans want" in any context simply doesn't turn out well unless you've got evidence (polls, surveys) to back it up. I actually think that PD does try to listen to what "fans want" but keep getting conflicting research about what that is. A lot of people (not personally, but yea) would love an online drag strip. A lot of others want new race cars, others want more road cars and then there's people like me who just want new tracks.

For the most part I agree with your suggestions, and the licence plate editor would be a handy fill in until they can give us a fully fledged vinyl creator... but- saying "the fans want..." is a little broad.

So not much news on the Gt5 front, aye, kinda quiet. Maybe too quiet.
Did Turn 10 make any big, new Dlc announcements? That's usually when Pd lay low for a
spell, better than invite direct dlc comparisons. Makes them look like lazy Devs :)
Or maybe it's just a case of old game is old, and Pd's finally done with it.

No, we have confirmed new DLC coming out some time soon...
...Or, soon in PD-time.
All I want right now is LP editor, so I can have all my cars say "VENOM" on them.

We better have a Koenigsegg Agera and a new-era Mustang on the way.. Take my money.

I would rather have the stuff I posted before FIRST (not instead). Koenigsegg, Gumpert, and SSC.

I don't see why people want all these Hypercars... Sure they look great and are fast, but let us not forget that GT5 Caters not only to the "Hypercar" fanbase, but to all automotive fanbases... but I kinda guess i see where you guys are coming from...

We have Aston Martin, Jaguar and Ferrari, so why do we not have these yet?

The best bit? Could use them together in online races. Any of those is better than boring same old hypercars IMO.

This is also the same man who over 18 months ago said that Standard cars would be upgraded to Premiums. And during the 18 months, what has been upgraded?

Whilst technically not "Upgraded", there is the Jaguar XJR-9 LM.

Dont forget Mercedes-Benz

Gran Turismo is missing some of the most relevant hyper car manufacturers today. SSC, Noble, Gumpert, Ariel Motor Company, Isdera, Panoz, Vector Aeromotive, Koenigsegg, Tushek, the list just goes on and on

Two things; the old one's still here, and you had to pay for it.

The former is a good indication that PD has no plans on "upgrading," because if they do, then they would've gotten rid of the Standard car.

Just a hunch.

Please read the bold part:

Point being, there's a premium version of a standard model.

And my original statement stands: PD have said over a year and a half ago that Standards will be upgraded to Premiums, which hasen't happened. So the chances of any further DLC are pretty slim. There probably will be DLC, just not a lot.

Thing is, I clearly Pointed It technically wasn't upgraded.

RACECAR

Which is why we had to pay for it, presumably.

I don't think we'll see THAT many DLC cars anyway, I mean they need to save a lot for GT6.

DLC tracks and some solid and meaningful updates to the core A-Spec and online multiplayer modes would be great and keep the game fresh.

Yes. Democracy in simulation game development leads to an average game, the game that masses want but not the hardcore.

The masses don't care and will buy it anyway and play it casually. That's why the ''hardcore'' players and fans should have more of a say in the matter. That's just a theory though.

I think this too. They will choose some cars and track, but we will not see all of them. We will not see more than 20 cars as a DLC in my opinion.
Exclude DLC that are already available

That is a problem. They didn't make one track DLC matter. I like SPA and race it online, but i think they could do a better job.

I agree with this. They shouldn't use casual gamer as a excuse for the AI which can't compete in ASpec.

But the truth is they use it as an excuse and don't make a strong AI and not more realistic Sim. Or they just can't. We will never know. But i think they don't invest so much in AI, physics, because they want to sell the game to the masses.

Hey, it's Pikes Peak time again (remember those dlc rumours), and now it's fully paved.
Have p.d been waiting with a fully paved version of the track; knowing that if they released the pavement/dirt version it would be outdated very quickly?
