Mercedes SLS. I was hoping it was the orange color from the model car you get with the Signature Edition, but I think it may just be red?

I'm hoping that you'll get an extra SLS in that livery in-game as a surprise goodie. Can't remember the orange one showing up in the demo, but I could very well be mistaken.

Yeah looks red, I wonder if we will have the orange paintjob from the model actually in game (from Signature Edition)

Yeah that's the SLS.. I'm sure one of those S's stands for the word sexy, that car is gorgeous.

Remember guys keep it GT related =P. Don't want to get the mods mad again. We were al ready was warned once this week.

Anyway, I hope they add 150 and 250cc(Superkart) karts in GT5... that would be awesome.

I would also love to see Road Atlanta.. (I know it's not a wishlist... but sebring I love that track..)

I wonder if they will be showing an updated build if they do have something at the show. I know during gamescom they where supposed to have downloaded the most recent "demo" build. I wonder if PAX will be along the same lines..

Hey, I don't mind, the mods do though. There was a small tangent on the car itself and not the game.

In all honesty I'm not expecting anything GT5 related until TGS, unless there is a suprise demo showcasing the rumored SPA this weekend, that would be a cool suprise.

Yeah true, I think that myself. But was wondering if they where going to be present at PAX..

I haven't heard anything about it so at the moment it looks like TGS will be the final blow out before launch...

Mark my words Road Atlanta is in. imo Plus Forza has had it for a while makes sense for PD to put it in GT5. Why would the AMG driving academy be there with GT5 pods if it wasn't in?

True, I do believe we will get it in there, I just can't wait to see it.. Loved it in forza 2 that and sebring...

So anyone any ideas if they are going to add GPS times on a regular basis after launch? Eg. Say someone was going round "the ring" and set a new world record laptime (after launch) does anyone know if we will see this appear in game in some form?..

Imagine having a ghost of the lap and racing it.. :drool:

I'm not all that into drag racing, but I wouldn't be against it being in a GT game.

PD is still working on the game so of course there are no reviews or previews because noone saw the final game yet. As soon as it goes gold (in a few weeks) there will be more revealed.

We should be able to do that with the online leaderboard.
As long as it was done online we can download the top 10 times and use them as ghosts.

The GPS, ...........?

Or do you mean setting the record in actual life?

I wouldn't know what magazine to look out for to be honest.

I follow the consol.at podcast - they specifically invited a colleague familiar with racing sims when reviewing Shift (I know, don't be tempted) - and considering all things they are very professional.

In their recent episode they have a small feature from the Gamescom. While GT got mentioned very briefly (yeah, very good), Hot Pursuit got all the praise.

And quite frankly, with forums like GTP, why buy/read magazines at all? They have to cater for the general audience, while forums like this are more likely to feature insights from like minded people.

Ok, trouble is some take it far too seriously and there's a good amount of bitching and/or letting off steam, but Youtube, forums and user generated content are the place to look today in my opinion.

Only trouble is guerilla marketing, which stretches out everywhere 👎 And I do mean everywhere.

But, during the Gamescom, some footage was shown in the renowned ARD news show. Which is quite something considering the conservative approach and high standard they have.

Following the FM3 coverage, being a FM2 veteran myself, it was very clear that not even the dedicated web media (I think you can guess which show I mean) could live up to my expectations and weren't that familiar with the franchise to give valuable news, insights or reviews.

So, there's some media coverage already, InYourFaceTube is flooded with all kinds of videos, GTP is as good as ever. Can't think a print magazine can compete with that.
