, but by now(this thread and others regarding sound), we can all agree that PD has the definition/resolution pegged down, also nice effects like Doppler and spatial positioning when you use a surround system, but however nice these effects and technical accomplishments are, they aren't doing anything to help the most important part,(95% of the time you're behind the wheel, not watching cars whizzing by!) and that is the engine sound from the drivers perspective. And that has questionable samples(some cars sound nothing like they do for real) and that annoying synthetic component of their audio engine(making all cars sound alike and fake/flat/not alive/etc)! Also, tire screech, but I wont spend any more words on that, for it's been done to death.
