Ah well, my alt account 20 race win streak came to an end when I met an A+ guy who's been reset to B lobbies.

I find it can be a crash fest with only my car on track 😂
I chose sanity and control practice vs pressure this week.

You’ll get there soon but I have all my accounts at A so then the dilemma is what are you racing for and if it’s not for who you are the accounts are their but where we prove things is where we show up

I know I keep ranting about this but man, we were in dire need of new tracks and literally cannot think of two real tracks that are worse. They're just AWFUL, yabbi Dabbi has two decent corners, the rest is captain fiddles and off camber and awkward, it feels so forced.

I will also keep ranting about this -

They need to add Sugo

Managed to plunder another win in Spain, it’s been pretty grubby I have to say today, I think I was top B because starting around 8-10, finishing 10-12 because the fighting mid pack was brutal and totally unnecessary to be honest,

But a few low place finishes and I was starting p2, this other Porsche had me a good sec or more away for 4 laps but then he let me in!

Video of the last lap 😁

This is so satisfying and kudos to the other guy for not devolving into panic defense mode, he accepted his fate. Your lap times are very strong, I can do the odd 42 in race trim but not so religiously as you seem able to do it.

So who's excited for the new dailies today?
Race B - Blue Moon Bay (Infield A Reverse) - Gr.4 (RH again)....
Race C - Daytona Road Course - Gr.3 (RM).

Race A might be a dark horse for the week, if you remember the gr4 race there or even the escort cosworth races,

@NevilleNobody up until Friday I could barely get in the 43s in race trim, had to do a little studying into my laps and watch the data logger and saw where I could squeeze a little more time - also a little time trialling with a top 10 time helped

Race A is the Maserati 08 Gran Turismo randomly 😁

BMB is indeed gr4

Have a good week all

Blue Moonbay reverse is fun. However, in the 2 races I've done here, there were some crazy dirty drivers. Wish like how we can report an user through chat system, wish we could also report for dirty driving with bad intent. These drivers don't care if their SR gets affected but they hurt others race & DR too. PD should do something forceful on those minute amount of drivers who only want to ram or punt....

Hey guys, CVJ track has now the Oscar for stupid penalties. I mean, I could go trough 2nd and last chicane (placing the car exacly at same spot) and get sometimes 1.0 sec penalty, 0.5 sec or no penalty at all. 🤔
I started almost to miss RBR...
Managed a '43.8 ('43.5 ideally). Still, I'm trying the new wheel differents setups in order to find my preferences. I did, at list, learn the track since I didn't try not even the track experience there. Anyway I don't see myself racing in it in future as long as PD doesn't fix the frustrating penalty's circus.
This week's combos aren't my preferred euphemistically speaking, so I'll focus on the power pack and maybe put some QT in Sardegna and Blue Moon.
It's maybe time also to set a second account and see how it goes.
Have a wonderful racing week, everyone.

Why the hell not!?

Shame I'm away as random road cars are seldom seen. A new direction for Race A, perhaps?

Yeah 100%, I haven’t tried it yet but hopeful it’s something to play with, within the week.

I did try the BMB and I reckon that can be fun and gr4 is the right car for that track, I’m going with the NSX all week, hopefully race A is terrible because I don’t like having two to choose from 😁

@Stringerbell I like race B at least, will settle down as the week goes on but was slightly sweaty but when your race clean you find clean I find. Ppl wanting more tracks etc should be happy with this week, tracks and cars in A&B

Has anyone found a working no-stop strategy for Race C? I tried the Audi and was embarassingly slow, even at half distance the leaders were coming out the pits ahead of me. Someone tried it in the L750R and his tyres were toast by the start of the last lap.

Digit tried and it worked for him (Peugeot L750r VGT).
He went from the back to P2.

I think you need alien skills to manage that tyre wear, last 2 laps were pure suffering.

What's everyone thinking this week?

Been watching a few of the streamers and C seems absolute chaos.

Think I'm going to start with B and then throw in A later in the week for some variety
I've played a few Race A's & B's. Both are fun in their own right.

Race A gets chaos because of the SM tyres. But it's a fun short & sweet track especially the downhill & uphill part.

Race B I enjoyed a lot. GT by Citroen is the best car there. Driving in reverse is fun & a fresh way to look at BMB. It can get a bit of chaos on the first lap at T1 & T2.

Popped in for a few test laps at Blue Moon - this week will be my last before a 4 week break as have to go abroad for work again on Saturday...

A bit annoyed at myself for resorting to the meta but needed a sharper cornering car for a fast lap.. Can improve but won't fixate this week as quite busy. 99% will be racing with the G70 for stability when I eventually race...

Good luck at the tracks this week everyone!

Well I didn’t quite have a race at Sardegna when I got home, managed a QT of 1.00.4xx and that’s a nice car to drive and look forward to more of it. Started the race and unfortunately was in the middle of someone smashing the field through, so that was me out 😁

I think blue moon is decent, nice flowing track and something different. Might have to swap to the dreaded Citroen or veyron for races though as I’m getting eaten up in the race,

So far no assists, I mean tidgney guide assistance, that comes tomorrow

Yeah race B has been the best so far. Managed a 1.15.1 but think I can squeak onto the 14’s hopefully! Especially now Tidgneys guide is out!!

Race A was lots of fun in qualifying with the sliding around and stuff! But the race was just absolute chaos from start to finish! Not one single person (myself included) had any control over where their car was going 😂😂 if I wasn’t clinging onto my newly obtained DR B then I might have found it more fun!

Anyone been doing C? Had a little blast round but wasn’t overly sold and think Gr 1 might be a bit above me at the moment

Yeah I’m struggling with race A. I’m usually around 3rd in quali but I can just never avoid getting hit in T1. Gone from DR B to D today :(

Might be a bit easier now I’m on pole in the lobbies though, I think that’s key.

If you want some advice is just let T1 be what it will be. The same think happened early doors when we had the lancia their and then it became a great week.

The amount of poles I couldn’t hold is a running theme in my stats but that’s also because as progress rises everything gets tighter but it’s slow and subtle and then one day it snaps to being fine. In the D and above lobbies it’s much better to think survive and thrive than win and dominate. It’s incremental gains that get you out of them rather than dominating pole.

I actually tried a Gran Turismo when I was shopping for a sporty cabriolet, lovely car with the right trim/spec/YM but very heavy compared to the more sportscar feel I was after. Maintenance costs are scary, mechanics hate working on them.
