I guess you'll have to call the two others to meet and go out (if that's still possible like in IV) to get them all in the same car. Come to think of it, a Comet will be out of the question then. A fast 4 seater like the Audi should suffice I think.

Looks like you can, and you're right about calling them both. I honestly thought that was impossible. :D

Throphy spoiler warning:

I guess I need to take my Veyron SS replica out of Michael's garage and put it into that bigger garage. I already lost one Veyron SS (which I found already in the orange/black color scheme) as Franklin when he moved to the new house.

Just watched the 2 alternate endings. Option C was definitely best.

I keep all of my rare/special cars in those 4 car garages that actually require you to load them. Just to avoid the risk of a glitch taking my cars from one of the garages.

I've made efforts to do the same with Franklin, although I've not had cars disappearing from Michael's garage, so I've continued keeping nice cars in there. I did however lose my Dubsta when doing the first mission for
Solomon.
I had taken that very same Dubsta to a different mission previous to the one where I lost it, and it turned up in the impound shortly after. You can't explain that. I've found that Wade's cousin's apartment seems to be a little sketchy as far as disappearing cars go. Luckily I don't keep many cars for Trevor, but I'm still a bit miffed that his Granger disappeared from there without a trace. :indiff:

CallmeDan
I'm a little surprised to see Famine in the GTP Crew. I thought he specifically said he was not going to buy the game? Guess he changed his mind.

Take a look at his join date. (2008) 👍

As far as I've seen, Franklin's garage is the only one that loses cars. I have the Adder & GT-R clone in Michael's, and playing as Trevor, I went to Michael's house, and peaked in his garage through the window. Sure enough, they were there.

Glad to see Camaroboy confirming the 3 cars owned by the characters stay modified. I had heard Trevor's truck just resets itself, which put me off modifying it. It was funny at first, but that teddy bear is really nasty now.

Sorry to disappoint you, but they are very hard to find when you aren't already driving one.

Are you sure? When I was roaming around with Franklin, I've found an Initial D-esque Futo in Vinewood Hills parked outside a house. Of course I put it in his garage once I found it.

I also noticed a reference to Carl Johnson. In the mission where you have to drive your motorcycle on the train there is a reference: better than Carl Johnson.

All you had to do was follow the damn train!

I've had 2 cars go missing from Michael's garage. Once when I had a cop car in there and another time I had 2 cars in there and 1 of them went missing. This is from the home garage not the storage garage. Hasn't happened since.

I also found a bug where I tried buying a car as Michael and the #1 slot in the garage was free but the car wouldn't show up even after it said it had been delivered. I re-organised the cars so the #4 slot was empty and it worked straight away.

Well R* has addressed the disappearing cars issue and it's not good news right now: http://www.gametrailers.com/side-mi...gta-vs-disappearing-vehicles-missing-upgrades

Well, Rockstar has acknowledged these issues, but currently doesn't have a solid fix other than a few workarounds to help you through.

Rockstar recommends that you try to avoid parking a car in a garage, driving one already in a garage, or getting in a default vehicle, when playing as a character other than the one with your upgrades to avoid the issue.

Hmmm... hopefully the online is structure such that the advantage gained by spending real money is mostly cosmetic.

And this is bad news - not just for GTAV players but the entire gaming industry.

I don't really see the problem. Being the cheap bastard that I am, I wouldn't ever do it, but if others want to then feel free. It's not like they don't do it online on other websites and social media in general. Facebook games are a prime example of this, as well as a lot of mobile games on iOS and Android platforms. At this point, who really cares? It's not like anyone can stop them. Besides, we aren't the developers and last time I checked, it was their game and they can do whatever the hell they want with it. It was bound to happen at some point.

The only time ill have an issue is when they start further restricting in game content in a similar way they do with DLC. If that happens, then there will be a day in hell for the devs. The only other thing I can see being an issue is the real world money prices on in game cash being absurd.

Yeah I don't see the problem as long as it's a pay to get a head start type thing rather than forcing us to pay for in-game cash if we want to buy anything.

It is bad news, paying for progress completely ruins the whole point of the game. It's bad enough how games purposely delay content to make more money with DLC but paying for in game progress is ridiculous. It's like paying money in battlefield 3 to improve your kd ratio. Something you should have to earn by playing rather than handing over your credit card. Hopefully the real value of those credits it quite low.

Pretty much.

So you are perfectly happy with being blown away by some kid who put $50 on dad's credit card to max out some armour and heavy weapons, while you are still saving (in game) to upgrade your pistol and base SMG?

Or racing someone who has put all the performance parts on a car using real money while you are in the stock ride you jacked from a parking lot?

I will be very unhappy if either of those come to fruition.
