I read somewhere else there is an easy way to get in there but it's a glitch. When you do one of the strangers and freaks missions with Trevor you'll go hunting elk. When you're left alone to hunt near the end of the mission you can actually leave the area and go anywhere. Everything is deserted and you get no stars no matter what you do.
 
I'm driving across the whole map in a tank to see if I can get in since the tank has no windows :lol: somehow I think I'm wasting my time.
 
The tank won't last you very long, they are the weakest they've ever been. Took me only a few minutes at 4 stars to lose it.
 
Yeah, I think it's nothing to do with being seen and instead R* has just placed an automatic star area around the base. Hopefully they patch it so that you can sneak in because otherwise it's a bit pointless and annoying for single player.

Yup you will get wrecked as soon as you step out of the tank. If you do manage to survive and get in the jet, you will be shot down. My brother tried for at least 4 hours. He just kept getting shot down.

Hmm You are able to activate the hunting mission anytime during the day after 5:00 AM. I wonder if you can attempt to steal the jet while you are in the hunting mission? You can technically hunt all day long until sunset. I think its about 24 real life minutes. That's how long most of my hunting trips lasted. Around 22-23 real life minutes.

I forgot to mention how much I love hunting in this game and how well it is executed. I like the modern concept compared to RDR hunting. Has anyone tried to kill a cow yet while hunting? I have heard some funny things while I was hunting but don't want to post spoilers.
 
I agree. Though it would be interesting to get a skilled crew to initiate a full frontal assault...

There's an idea for GTA online.

I already have the Jet in my hangar :) Jet is pretty easy if you go for the one in the military hangar, it's the Titan I want now.

Also the GTA online attack idea sounds fun :lol:

It only works in the very first 'intro' mission from what I've read. The guy teaches you to kill the first two then goes off and leaves you to do one on your own and send a picture to him. That's when it works. Or so I've read, I already did that mission before I read it.
 
I think I have a plan. Keep an eye out for a new thread (anyone who is interested), I'll post it up here in a few minutes.
 
I forgot to mention the midnight launch. Probably around 100-130 people. Felt bad for the 14-15 people I heard saying that they could wait to get on that night for the mp. Thinking to myself ouch they are going to be in for an unpleasant surprise when they get home. Especially the ones talking crap saying they would be destroying everyone online. haha
 
Very true. When I found out about a month ago I was bummed at first. But now after being able to focus on the single player, I am thankful the mp didn't release with the game. It actually gave me time to finish the single player with little to no interruptions. With that said, I am predicting other developers will start doing this too. Especially with the amount of sales GTA5 has had, launching with no mp. I can see more of this happening for sure with developers.

Well it technically has already been happening. Most games have day one problems with the mp. So I guess most of us are kinda used to it.

Very true. When I found out about a month ago I was bummed at first. But now after being able to focus on the single player, I am thankful the mp didn't release with the game. It actually gave me time to finish the single player with little to no interruptions.

It's sad really, single player is always the core experience for me, but I guess multiplayer is just easy fun, so a lot of people just go straight to that.

As do I, it happened a lot in GTA IV, I got countless user requests to join their MP game. At the time I just wanted to enjoy the story.
 
I haven't explored all of Las Santos yet. Jumbo Jets are so fun to fly :D. Tried to land one on a highway... But it ended very bad lets say :lol:

Only 14% in GTA V in 2 Hours.. Is that decent?
 
I assume the social club is still down, I keep trying to register and it's not doing anything. Frustrating since I want to be able to save photos and cannot do it at the moment. Found the C7 Vette last night and only did visual modifications, the car is fast enough already. The while driving one the Mustang look-alike popped up.

Still no Futo though. :(
 
What are your favorite activities to do in the game?

I like to take Trevor hunting, and Michael/Franklin to the golf club. I've also done some of the parachute jumps, and they're quite fun.

I found one parked after the Diamond Heist thingy and you jump to Franklin at the Strip Club. and you go outside and I saw one right infront. Jumped in got it stuck on stairs taking a shortcut :grumpy: and disappeared.

I found a few driving around when I was powering through the story but I never bothered to jack one and instead took time to find the SLS/F-Type crossbreed.

I bought a Vacca, Cheetah, and XF over the in-game internet instead.

Oh also, anyone had any success getting into the army fort? I've tried sneaking in, going in guns blazing and parachuting in, none were successful.

Yeah me too, really wanted to fly the jet, but just got blown away no matter what my approach was :P
 
Police are very aggressive as well. Man I stole a PD Cruiser and I get chased by 3 cops. and they were ramming me since this Crown Vic Knock Off is slow as S*** compared to the Taurus knockoff. eventually I jumped out ran into the alleyways. *shall attempt this again*
