Wootage. Finally got the platinum trophy an hour ago. :) Last remaining one was the 'Solid Gold, Baby' trophy (get 70 gold medals in missions etc).

First GTA game i've ever finished to 100%, and first i've ever got all the trophies for.

I don't see myself getting the platinum. Not sure what things I still need for the online trophies and don't really feel like doing the 70 gold missions.

There are 45 Strangers & Freaks missions, and 76 or something main missions, so you have a lot of options open as to which missions you go for gold on. It can be a bit fun too, especially since your weapons and ammo and skills carry over from where you are currently in the game... Makes things a lot easier.

I don't aim for platinum if i think it'll be too hard/time consuming to do so, and thus far only have 5 platinums (InFamous, Far Cry 3, Gran Turismo 5, Gran Turismo 6, Grand Theft Auto V). Mafia II looks achievable, so am working on that now.

Whoops...

Well that makes it easier then.

Still have to get the trophy for spending the money across the 3 characters, but I didn't play the stock market on my first playthrough.. so I'm well short of 250 million or whatever is required.

Just took out all 15 of Lenny Avery's signs using The Liberator. A couple were tough, one being particularly high up (a tiered wall being my salvation here) and the other with a woman standing just outside the house less than a tire width away from the sign (I don't like killing innocents, clearly something's not right with me)--ended up scaring her off and subsequently hiding from the cops that she called before finally getting to topple the dang thing.

I found a problem after I finished the story mode, it only says that I have completed 67 of the 69 missions in the game and was wondering how could of I missed the 2 missions and has anyone else had the same problem as me?

Spoiler tagged incase anyone still hasn't completed the story, but it should answer your question.

I think you need to play through the missions for the other 2 endings (Either Kill Michael, Kill Trevor, or Deathwish) to get 69 out of 69 missions, as the 3 possible end missions count separately.

Thanks for the help with that

I selected option C when I previously went through the story mode, so I presume you re-do the mission where you pick or do you have to start the game again to choose the other 2 options

All you need to do is go into the mission replay menu, and there you'll be able to select the other 2 endings. They'll be at the bottom, and you'll be able to tell them because you won't have a 'medal' for them.

Note: Playing the other 2 missions won't affect your game at all, so don't worry about killing Michael or Trevor.

Ohhhh. Now I understand why I have that problem. Why didn't R* make it more obvious they didn't play those missions?

Damn and blast, the PC version is not out before Christmas. Would've loved to play this over the that period.

Will there be a discount for the PS3 /X360 players that buy the new release?
I understand that R* put effort into polishing and what not for the PS4/X1 release, but I'm not willing to pay full price for a game that mainly is a "graphical" update of a game I already paid full price for.

Must say that it of course depends on what the full price will be.

I believe that the PC Version costs about 45€

And I came here to post asking if anyone knew anything about the next gen release!

Getting excited for it now.

EDIT:

Is that a zombie I spotted at 0:28 into the video?

Completely fine with the PC version coming out next year. Means I'll have more time to save up money for whatever might be needed to run it. Yes, I will 100% pre-order it.

Welp, deleted GT5's install data, a whopping 13gb (GT6 is likely to go to if PD don't start adding good stuff) and gonna get GTA IV started to DL

Nvm, it's still deleting...

ffs.

If you believe the youtubers, we're getting zombies and aliens and jetpacks and lots of other ridiculous things I can't remember right now.

They're adding a faster blimp... I'd like them to add a faster sub, and remove the speed scaling since they aren't hindered by the PS3/360 draw distances and processing now. It's definitely noticeable online since I've hit over 200mph in single player but my fastest speed online is 160mph.
