SlashfanWere did you read this?
And if that's actually the case, that's awesome they listened to their fans from the massive feedback. That is definitely cookie worthy.
Give me a second. I'm on my phone..

SlashfanAlright. That's cool. Wonder what else they've changed from the feedback. If people keep this up a lot of good things could come.
Then again, it could backfire.
The RPG-style character customization in GTA: San Andreas was so popular that when Rockstar announced this feature would be left out of GTA IV, a vocal minority made its displeasure widely known. For the return trip to Los Santos, this fan-favorite feature returns in a new way.
XSAlso, I'm glad it's in September, when the weather starts to get crappy so I won't feel guilty about being inside all weekend lol.
IGNBut GTA V does currently have GTA IV’s texture pop-in issues, and graphically, it’s unimpressive. It looks like an enhanced version of Grand Theft Auto IV with an extra sheen added, but it also doesn’t stand up to its far more graphically-impressive contemporaries. It doesn’t look five-plus years newer than the game that came before it. The good news is that no one plays GTA for its aesthetics, but it’s nonetheless worth noting that the game looks decidedly dated this late in Xbox 360’s and PlayStation 3’s lifecycle.
........uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmm.
McLarenIf it looks anywhere as good as GTA IV, then I won't care. That game still looks great for all the details it's presenting...
Cars can be completely customized from their outside appearance to even their handling and performance now at Los Santos Customs, the replacement to Pay N' Sprays. Car customization will include but not limited to:
Paint jobs
Wheels
Window tinting
Grilles
Spoilers
Custom license plates
Engine tuning
Suspension
Brakes
...and other handling tweaks.
According to Rockstar themselves, the level of customization will be on par to that of Midnight Club: Los Angeles, and that if you "trick your engine out too much and you can overtune it, so be careful." The general consensus of the driving physics are that it's been substantially improved.

SlashfanThey changed it Thursday.
Also, players can HEAVILY invest in toys, real estate, business etc.
Yup a couple sources said Rockstar changed the name so it would be more appropriate. Personally I think it would be cool having both Pay 'N Sprays and Los Santos Customs. Hell if I could invest in both businesses so everything was cheaper or free I would because that would be freaking epic.
MC:LA's physics felt like they were for weaving in and out of traffic and any car in the game was a drift machine. I hope GTA isn't like that.
Ok,thanks.
Maybe a car custom business or showrooms would be cool to own, with discounts of course.

IIRC Vice City had a car dealership you could buy.
I have no doubt that will be back in San Andreas II..erm..V.Yeah that was brilliant I enjoyed finding all the required cars too, likewise in SA.
Welllllll, I agree with having both.
On MCLA, I had a Corvette Z06 acting like a ZR1 with epic handling, and an Audi R8 that was like glue on the road. It came down to the brand name parts you installed and the dimensions you had on the car.

Here on the western side of GTA 5’s gargantuan map – all of which is opened up from the beginning, so there’s no more island-unlocking – one tempting drop-in spot is a military base around 100m to Franklin’s right – although our rep is having none of that. Closer, I note a road winding precariously around one particularly menacing peak; our host explains that it’s an ATV racetrack. Animals scurrying below are just too far away to make out, but it’s clear that, like Red Dead, we’re about to drop in on a living, breathing wilderness complete with its own ecosystem. And a really pretty one, in its own barren way.
Fret not, radio stations featuring hilarious skits and massive hits – a staple of the series – are back too, confirmed later on when co-protagonist Michael takes to the freeway with Fergie’s Glamorous blaring through the windows. More on that later.
Even in this remote outpost of the map, there’s evidently plenty to do: races on the aforementioned ATV track, animal hunting, picking up hitchhikers to take back to more populated territory (or bump off in a lay-by).
Character switching is handled by an onscreen weapon wheel which sits on the lower right of the screen. You hit up on the right stick to control Franklin, right to switch to Trevor, and left to become Michael. (Down triggers multiplayer, but there are no details on that element yet. Sorry.)
For aiming, the default is ‘soft lock’ – giving you freedom of movement, but enablingyou to switch between multiple targets. ‘Free aim’ and ‘hard lock’ also feature as options, and are self-explanatory.
You'll recognise the vehicles from GTA 4, too. Many of the same models return, joined by new helicopters, trucks and sports cars. The handling doesn't seem all that different, from a casual glance - a quick trip in a high-end convertible, returning a movie star to her home while paparazzi give chase, suggests there's still a weight and heft to vehicles that makes driving them a bit more of a challenge and thus more satisfying than other open-world roller-skates.
ou'll be able to buy not only houses for characters, but also garages for your cars, marinas and even businesses.
Some of GTA 5's peripheral distractions have been covered already, but there are tonnes that have yet to be discussed. The more detailed minigames include base jumping, big game hunting and off-road racing; add those to sporting events such as yoga, golf, tennis, bike races and triathlons, and challenges such as stunt jumps and aerial time trials. There are also new kinds of by-the-by criminal activity - ATMs to rob, security vans to hijack, and hitchhikers to whisk off to a high-velocity collision with the nearest tractor.
Also the sea underwater is the size of 2 Red Dead Redemptions.
"Special skills"? I wonder what that could be about.
