I was so excited to see the ruiner! Can't wait to steal me one and paint it to look like my '85 camaro. That will for sure be my casual cruise vehicle.

Alright after analyzing Franklin's trailer (again), I saw these returning vehicles from GTA IV.

I forget the name of that van, but if you watch the trailer as the camera switches to Lamar and then switches back to Franklin a few seconds later that van changes to a new non GTA IV model.

You're right - it does change . I also spotted a white Buffalo - and an Infernus both IV-like. I'll try getting some pictures up.

I'm kinda curious regarding the Buffalo. Are there going to be two generations of the Buffalo in GTA V, like the Schafter and Faggio in TBoGT? Or is that rear-end a modification done at a Pay N' Spray? Speaking of which, bring on the car customization screens Rockstar! 👍

I raise my point about the cop cars again...

And now we are seeing more of these:

Multiple departments or new car overall? At first they looked like Crown Vics but now they look more like the new Taurus SHO. The trailers show this much better.

The cop cars probably change depending on the star level or the car you are driving. Just like in other games with police. They start out with basic slow cars and as your star level increases, the cars also increase. Or if you are driving a very fast car, the game adapts and sends much faster police cars.

I am SOOOOOO overwhelmed with excitement right now. Already setting up a midnight launch with my brother and I will be taking the week of paid. I haven't been this excited for a GTA game since Vice City and San Andreas.

I just cant believe how much they are pulling out of the 360. This game has to be on at least 2-3 discs for the 360. They said it is fairly fluid to jump from mp to single player but this has to be on at least 2 discs minimum. Not that it matters. I am guessing the discs will have to change during the campaign. Which means mp would be on each disc so you wouldn't have to change discs to play mp.

Also the post above mine mentions trailers and tractors. Since other sandbox games allow you to tow objects and they have tractors, I am sure GTA5 will too. Looks like GTA5 is finally going to use some ideas from the other sandbox games and put those ideas into GTA5.. In a good way.

So excited for this game!!

Not for the entire trailer at about 24-28 seconds Trevor sounds alot like John Malkovich to me.

The Vigero was by far my favorite car in IV so I exploded when I seen it in V .

I believe it has already been confirmed that GTA V will not have any star-powered voice actors. So it's not Malkovich. Maybe someone channelling Malkovich, and possibly (but not likely) John Cusack possessing Malkovich's body, but not Malkovich himself.

People on the GTAForums were discussing how it appears that plane engines will now launch away cars that come close to them. If that part of the trailer wasn't a scripted cutscene and an actual demonstration, then, awesome

Funny enough the plane just landed so normally the engines would be in reverse or [at minimum] forward idle thrust and couldn't flip the cars over.


One thing I have noticed is a couple different "jumbos", you have that one which seems to be the same model as the generic flyers in GTA 4, then you have a variant that is seen in a screenie with the rear cargo door open and Franklin free falling from. That plane has 4 pods of twin engines (8 total) and not 4 pods of singles.

I wonder if the Cargo door version (4x2 engined version) is the one we can control as seen in another screenie of Trevor flying next to a military fighter?

In GTA IV, you could run on the wings of the jets by parking a truck in front of a taxiing jet, then climbing on top of the truck. Now, it seems like you'll get sucked into the engines if you try that. One major thing I really want back is car surfing. I was so that annoyed you couldn't ride on top of cars or park a car on the tugboat and transport it to Happiness Island.

The reason you can't fit vehicles on it is because there is a very large invisible wall around the tugboat. You can demonstrate this by trying to land a helicopter on the back of the boat or drive a motorcycle onto the top of it from a high place.

Looks like that black car appears to be the GTA IV Feltzer! Nice to see that sexy beast return, and rocking nice body kits! Perhaps a gang variant?
Also that's a sweet blue color on that 9F in the driveway.

...then the truck in the red circle caught my eye.

BOBCAT! I can tell right away from it's stacked headlights and overall boxy appearance. Nice that they kept it's hillbilly-esque appearance from IV!

Just in case your still wondering, there are 3 vans in GTA IV : The Burrito, Pony, and Speedo. The one you mentioned seems to be the Pony. 👍
