Well I mean it would be kind of pointless to have them in there and not utilize what they already created in RDR.

I've been playing TBOGT because it was half price on PSN and I've got to say it is much more fun than Niko's story but I'm afraid it's heading towards Saints Row slightly, there have been too many moments that have broke the immersion were I have sat back and thought really... [TBOGT spoilers>>>] For example there's the mission where you need to shoot the tank down from the skycrane, I found the tank conveniently on all 4 wheels despite the fact it would have fell nose first through the beams of the bridge. Catching the guy in mid-air to, just over the top. It's like they've caved in from the pressure of all the people saying more fun all the time.

Can they implement a system in which cheating is not allowed online? Im sick and tired of little kids hackig the game. It ruined RDR for me. If GTA V had some sort of security system then, that would be great!

Hacking ruined GTA IV multiplayer for me. If I had a capture card, the only thing multiplayer would be useful for is 1-player stunt videos. A private lobby is now the only redeeming factor of multiplayer. It's all gone down hill. You can't just try to do something fun (stunting with cars and bikes) without some idiot harassing you.

Example:
*trying to backflip bikes off the ramps on the airport runway*
*hacked Sultan RS with runway lights attached to it begin pursuing the bike*
*the hacker and his idiot friend open fire on the bike*
*the biker gets killed and rage quits*
*biker reports them to Sony, but nothing happens to them*

It's ridiculous.... *oh I can't win in this game because I give up too easily.... Im going to hack it and ruin it for everyone!!!!!* Frickin' tiny multiplayer Hitlers.......

Yeah, but I guess my point was (I'm not sure if I actually have a point), the music fitted into those eras so well they gave the games a lot of character, and no other GTA games seemed to replicate that. Vice City had a lot of hits from the 80's, but I can't think of any songs used in GTA4 which were big hits in the 00's.
That probably has to due with the fact that because GTA IV in set in the 00's, it's music selection on the radio reflects that as well. And in the 00's as you know, there's a huge diversity of music from several ages & that reflects in the game. San Andreas & Vice City seemed to just keep to music that was set in their respective eras, just different genres.

The one big difference though is that GTA IV's radio stations also feature music from around the world, so what may not seem like any big hits here are more than likely popular elsewhere; there is after all, a radio station that seems to be directed towards Eastern European hits. There's also 2 or 3 stations directed towards club/trance/electronic/etc. music as well.

Music in the 2000's kinda sucks. Except for Deadmau5, Daft Punk, and Justice. [/fanboy]

But I really liked the new Vladivostok Radio in TBoGT. It was practically the only radio station I listened to, since I didn't like most of Electro-Choc's station in TBoGT. In IV, it was pretty much the opposite of the above. Waters of Nazareth by Justice was one of my favorites in IV.

Going to another part of radio stations in IV, I did like Radio Broker. There were some pretty good songs in that.

I'm happy cars from IV will be returning. Looks like DLC cars will be too, like the Bullet GT. Can't wait to drive and mod the Tampa, that was my favorite car.

Rockstar isn't known for DLCs. I don't really consider EFLC (Episodes from Liberty City: The Lost & Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony) a DLC. More like completely new games with totally new stories, the same city, and most of the same cars. I really hope Rockstar isn't taking the path of other companies in which they release DLCs for everything, just to make more money. Why can't companies follow the original path of "you get every single thing on the disk", not through a stupid online store. Companies made a profit on the game itself, not extra crap they thought of after the game came out (except for day-one DLCs. *cough* EA)

Wasn't the episodes supposed to be part of the main story like how GTA V is, but somehow couldn't be? I thought I read that somewhere.

Well Rockstar is known for giving people what they were looking for which is a open world, single player, expansive world for the price of $60. They would lose a lot of fans if they started releasing a lot of online DLC and such.

No doubt they would. They wouldn't dare to lose so many fans. When this game launches, I don't expect there to be too many issues on release. Rockstar can't afford a screw up on release. This could very well be one of the most anticipated games of all time and (most likely) be Game of The Year. There will be patches for GTA V, but there (hopefully) wont be one within the first week. R* takes their time with their games, unlike others that have to make a game that's due every Christmas/other December holiday.

Rockstar even delayed GTA V. I'm sure they are aiming to create a near flawless experience. Man, thinking of this game gets me excited. Can't wait for the Ads for the game.

The look of my face when I first saw that was priceless.

I honestly think that these trailers were put together better actually. More of a cinematic feel. GTA V's were great, but I just didn't get the same feelings from these.

Have to agree, and I was just thinking the same thing. The trailers for GTA 3, Vice City, and IV all got me pumped for the game, especially IV. But the trailer for SA didn't do anything for me, just the size, scope, and content of that game got me excited, but nothing as far as story, characters, or atmosphere intrigued me, and it's exactly the same feeling I have with V. I am still very excited about the game, however!

I think part of that is because they haven't realy talked much about the storyline itself.

Can anyone say what it says under the "to do list"?

That atwork has been out for at least a week and a half now. I posted it twice I think.

It looked new to me . Anyway, I thought it was squiggles because of my browser, so I really thought it said something, I just couldn't see.

It's a feature I would like implemented too! Sadly though, I would say, it's higly unlikely :indiff:.

I think I might just be reading it wrong but what do you mean?

I'm going to feel stupid after this one I know it,

Yeah me too ,I really would love that .WOnder why R* don't implement it.

Because it isn't a necessary feature. Think about it. Every single button on the PS3 controller was mapped to do something. Where would you put an indicator button when there is no room for one? It won't add anything to the game except for blinking lights.

I would like to have this somehow implemented, but it will never happen. The only way you would be able to have indicators is through a trainer on your PC. If you want a game that actually has indicators, play Test Drive Unlimited 2.

the yellow flashing light when you want to turn right/left or Park are called indicators .I wish we can control them like Test drive.

Edit@CallmeDan I'm sure they can be Mapped to buttons that are activated while driving or maybe a button combination not that big of an issue I reckon

Blinkers in a GTA game where you're just running from the cops? Blasphemy! I think I'm not gonna stop at a stop sign and indicate that I'm gonna turn right while they're chasing me.

Wait.. that's just my take. Lol.

Want blinkers, go to your car, signal which way you wanna go and giggle all you want.

Lol. Not meaning to be a douche about it.

I would like that actually.... you can map it to the D-Pad (the area with the arrows..) left arrow for left, right arrow for right, and down arrow for both....

Radio, up arrow....wait, if you miss a station, you have to go all the way around... huh.... guess not.
