Well it's official. Two members today pushed me over the edge. I'm turning my badge in and leaving LS 4x4. It was fun hanging out with you all, but today I was not in the mood for being pushed around. Between my car nearly getting shoved into the water on purpose, and getting melee killed for nothing, I have valid reasoning to leave.

For anyone wondering why I switched to the Cargobob, it was because I decided I caused too many problems with my stupid FQ 2. I only want to have fun, joke around a bit, and help people out.

@ZDUPH You know me. I pull jokes all the time. You know I wouldn't push you ALL the way into the water. And the melee thing, I wasn't trying to kill you. I was trying to push someone away from my car.

EDIT: @michrulejj Sorry for any damage your car suffered. I tried dropping your car in a safe location, but it kept rolling downhill.

EDIT 2: I slammed the chopper at the edge of the waterfall so no one would lose their cars. Thankfully I didn't hit anyone.

There's a difference between joking and outright 🤬 with me.
Don't even bother inviting me back because I'll just deny it. I'm fed up with being treated like dog 🤬 for no reason. Everyone else gets along just fine but NOOOOOO there's always someone messing with me.

You're fine haha. Had to eat and came back and was like "What The..?" All doors and hood was gone but lights still intact... lol. All good. And I think someone should ahve a cargobob at every meet just in case someone rolls down hill.

There's a difference between joking and outright 🤬 with me.

1) You need to relax bro. 2) It's a game, you shouldn't get worked up like this. And there is always that one person that is going to set you off or do stuff just to make you mad, but you have to learn to deal with it and go one with life. I can assume that right now you are in a somewhat bad mood. And thats not good, you should just learn to move on from small things like this. @ZDUPH

Anyone want to have another private session? I'm bored and have nothing to do :p Or we can just screw around.

When this group started it was in the spirit of SIM style off road meets. Where we acted like real life. Anything that would land you a felony wasn't permitted.

I'm not interested in joining any meets that will have people acting like children and not taking it serious. You wanna jack around do so the other 6.5 days of the week.

Rather then lose Jeep. I'd suggest we remove those that don't keep the integrity of the weekly meet.

Agreed. That's the reason why this crew was made and why certain people joined, we liked/like the idea of a simulated trail ride, not messing around.

There's your answer. When @R1600Turbo was in charge, everything was realistic, fun, and relaxing. Now we have people in Cargobobs and Froggers messing around, intentional pushing and shoving, melee killing, running around on fire, blowing up a trail of cars, etc. The list just goes on and on.
@michrulejj I need to relax? Why should I? Because a few individuals turned this realistic and fun crew into a playground full of immaturity? I loved hanging out with the LS 4x4 crew before. Now it's a madhouse where folks are killing each other for no reason and the management has gone horribly south. There are a few members who try to keep the original idea in mind, but lately this crew has sunk like an overloaded cargo ship.
In regular lobbies you can act like a fool all you want, but when it's time to meet up for this crew, you need to be kind, courteous, and most of all, mature.

I agree to this. I was going full speed launching my car into the air. If anyone noticed I was very carefully going and trying my best not to get any damage to my car as the theme was road cars that weren't made for this (ie not a banger truck that you beat around). I saw some vehicles that where all destroyed and going full speed at things. I enjoy taking a realistic approach to these meets.

Okay I understand and agree to that completely. And if the cargobob is used in a mature realistic way that can be a good thing. I didn't pay much attention to it tonight though. I agree though to your statement, I understand your frustration but you still have to learn to deal with it. It'll happen a lot in your life my friend.

I'm one for what Owen said. These meets should be civilized and mature. With that said, it doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to have a little bit of fun. But when that fun turns into hitting each others cars and hitting/shooting people, that's where the line is drawn.

What I mean by a little bit of fun includes stopping for pictures, and while we are stopped you can eat candy, smoke a cig, get drunk (my favorite ;)), and just walk around and look at everyone elses vehicle. And if you have a mic, you can discuss characteristics of your ride, the trail, and so on. After the trail(s) is finished, and we go our seperate ways, you can let loose. Please, don't do it around us. Like the one person who decided to call in an airstrike after the meet was over with, when we were all lined up.

These meets have really gone south. Please, be more mature or don't even bother showing up.

If I do join back, I'll be taking care of cleaning up the crew. I'll need to be re-promoted to commissioner to do so. This crew has gotten out of control. I've never gotten this angry before. @R1600Turbo built this crew with the idea of having a nice, peaceful, relaxing time out in the country, travelling each trail slowly and cautiously and taking photos of the lush environment. He never visioned it turning into a children's teacup party where people are speeding through trails, beating the crap out of members' cars, and overall having a very bad time. That's why I'm very angry.

An idea that came into my mind while I was shopping for vehicles in GTA 5... What if someone got a bus or shuttle bus, and go to a planned meet up place like the Casino. We all drive our Daily Drivers there. Then we all go on the bus and ride to the start point on the trail. Or the nearest point. And then once we get there we call in out vehicles as I believe in reality people don't drive their vehicles to every trail run (I know they do for like grass roots 4x4 but you get the idea). And then we go on the trail. Once we get done we get another bus and go to wherever we plan to go. Keeps us ina group also. Just an idea that just popped in my head.

The cargobob is just a bad idea. Some of the places we go the last thing that is needed is a giant helicopter hovering over us with an unskilled pilot.
Again, it's also incredibly unrealistic. What trail riding organization in America has a freaking Military-spec cargo chopper following it? None.
If you can't handle the maturity of the crew don't even bother signing up.

What I bolded and underlined is what makes these meets fun. Well, for me at least.

No. The mechanic in this game can be too unreliable. Then you run the risk of everyone's mechanics running into each other.

The only reason why I could see it being a good idea is for video, but with the lact of respect, responsibility, and maturity, I think it should be outlawed at out meets.

But if we get a mature pilot that knows how to fly it and stay back until something happens, it could be good. But what are the odds of that?

If I get back in, I'm gonna be busy cleaning up the crew of inactive and immature members.

Okay don't get mad, i'm just being honest. After tonight, I thought of this. Could you keep control and not go on a random banning spree? I just don't want someone getting mad and then just kick a bunch of people. It needs to be someone that is mature and we can trust.

I'm not against you doing it and believe you can I just want you to realize this and think twice before kicking someone.

Don't worry, I already know who I'm banning. You aren't one of them though. It's time we got this crew back on it's feet. Time to weed out the players who are trying to sabotage this crew and get back to square one.
I need my crew invite to be accepted so I can at least get back into the closed crew lobby to talk about it.

I think the blame for why this crew went south has to stem right back to the very top with @R1600Turbo. He's hardly been to any meets except for maybe a couple when this crew started. Then he just disappeared and the crew has just fallen into complete disarray.

This is what I wanted from you. Now you have my trust 100% #ZDUPHForPresident.

Anyone want to get on right now to do some random 4x4ing? But realistically?

If I'm not wanted by anyone, I'll just leave. No need to waste time banning me.

I think we should start keeping tabs on what people do starting today. To keep it fair and it can be a reality check for some people.

My two cents: this crew is cool and quite big, but lacks a proper discussion center. Like a real forum or a forum section, not just a thread.

Why this? Because then things can be discussed more orderly, and voted, and more collegial, and be clear to everybody. Like rules, for example.

I suggest not banning anyone, just taking things more seriously and more organized. I am in the APEX crew, we do racing, we have a forum and things are smooth. When we are in a racing playlist, people is not allowed to ram others to push them out of the race. When there are accidents, the pilot that caused it must stop and let people pass. Otherwise it's reported on the forum.

Of course, members can still hold their races with custom vehicles and do madness, just outside those official moments.

Apart from this, today was cool as always, even better than the last Sandking meet. I was there when the cargobob landed and exploded on the waterfall, it was a funny moment of extreme off-roading - had to dodge the flames on one side and the falls on the other. Didn't bother me, on the contrary it was challenging and fun. Let's just try to walk the line and have fun at the same time.

Since this is likely going to be my last post in this thread, unless I'm not forced out, I thought I'll upload the picture I took while at Mt. Chilliad.
