Were they factory fit or dealer fit?
The guys on the Camaro forum seem to say that originally the stripes stopped on the spoiler. And if you look at barn finds or all original examples, that seems to be true.
EDIT: Fun fact, the Z/28 in Gran Turismo 4 actually had the correct stripes when it was a standard car.
Hm, so it means it'll be perfect with only length fix.
Aren't the spoiler and trunk lid merged in GT4 model?
It seems that the stripes are not correct in GT4 as well.
The black garnish is correct too.
GT4 models > GT Sport models
I'd have to look in GT4 photomode later and see the details up close.
Nice find regarding the Camaro. El Capitan looked like a beautiful track on the PS2. It'd be amazing on current-gen hardware.
Man I waited so long for this to return and it was so worth it
Honda S800 '66
That little car is just so beautiful now in it's full premium glory.
It looks like GT6...
I guess this person is either trolling or just poorly misinformed.
Probably thinks we are comparing GTS pics VS real life....
So SSQSE is pointing out that "GTS" graphics looks like GT6....
Please when you compare the EK9 Civic, compare it to the Standard EK9 '98 model and the Premium '97 one. Thanks
And compare the Porsche 930 to the RUF CTR and BTR.
Honda Civic Type R (EK) '98
Honda Civic Type R (EK) '97 VS Honda Civic Type R (EK) '98
Nice comparisons, but do you have the interiors too?
It looks like GT6 used a lower resolution model.
Welcome back Civic EK, we missed you!
Thank you. I appreciate it
The curved frame behind the steering wheel looks almost equally rough in both models while everything else seemingly improved very much.
Oh, the 97 model in GT5-6 was equipped with the optional non-airbag steering wheel...
What will PS5 graphics look like?
The PS3 could render these pictures, heck, it basically did. But that doesn’t mean much if its not in real-time. Using GT Sport’s Race Photo mode you can see there’s tons of room for improvement in the graphics department.
Imagine, a full grid of 20 cars rendered real time, in Scapes Mode quality? I can only hope.
Mazda Roadster Touring Car '--
That sounds like a big waste of resources which could be used to improve the tracks instead, they look so dead at the moment, something surely can be done. Besides the jump to full 4k resolution will eat up a big chunk of PS5's power, I expect 2D trees to stay for another 7 years.
You’re underestimating the sheer leap in power the PS5 will have. It’s expected to be a much bigger jump as from PS3 to PS4. Even now the PS4 Pro could probably run GTS in native 4K if you where prepared to cut back on the number of cars, sacrifice framerate etc.
PS5 wil see a significant jump in GPU & CPU power. Plus massively improved bandwidth. The tracks are already upto PS5 standards in terms of 3D geometry. It’s texture quality and effects that need improving. PD are in a good position for next-gen as they’ve already nailed down the fundamentals of their title. They can use much of the extra power to refine & polish their title rather than starting from scratch.
