It's with this kind of thread that we can truly appreciate the effort required and put into mAking the change and improvement to the new game standard...
It's a lot of work !

Man, GT6 still holds up. Actually thought the top picture was GTS for a second, maybe it's because I'm super tired but wow it looks good. GTS' rendition is fantastic too, tons of detail!
I love how the pit-stop is more lively on GTS.
It's a retextured version of the GT4 model of the track. The GT3 one is very different.I thought it would've looked worse considering it's from GT3 with updated trees.
So it basically used old resources in a more modern GT title. It's a retextured version of the GT4 model of the track.
The GT6 version doesn't look that bad honestly. I thought it would've looked worse considering it's from GT3 with updated trees.
different
Yeah... take a look at Trial Mountain for example, it barely changes from GT4.So it basically used old resources in a more modern GT title.
I wonder why they did this though. Even the standard cars used old resources.Yeah... take a look at Trial Mountain for example, it barely changes from GT4.

And they're still mediocre at best. But now it's really hitting me with how bad they actually were.
NOAnd they're still mediocre at best.
Yes.
Don't think he is trolling, I have seen some post of said member and he has a strong opinion over car sounds in general. So yeah...I’m pretty sure the person you’re replying to is trolling. The car sounds are one of the other aspects in GTS that show a marked improvement over its predecessors. Even an objective observer would notice the difference in quality.
Yes, they went from really bad to mediocre. The improvement is there (mostly regarding mechanical sounds) but the engines sound horrid 90%* of the time. The car sounds are one of the other aspects in GTS that show a marked improvement over its predecessors. well they have a different rear light?Volkswagen Golf I GTI '76 VS Volkswagen Golf I GTI '83

Because we got the '83 model which is already a facelift of the '76 modelwell they have a different rear light?

Ye gonna have to disagree with you there. Some of the cars in GTS sound identical to their IRL counterparts imo. They just often lack a little bit of grunt and "dirtiness"if you get what I mean.Yes, they went from really bad to mediocre. *number pulled out of my ***
I'll let you believe that. It's not really worth discussing anyway. I already gave up hoping for a GT with proper sounding cars.Ye gonna have to disagree with you there. Again car sounds and all these things are subjective terms which means not everyone perceive and have the same opinion over it.I don't think you can believe in a fact. If a car sounds identical to the real thing, then it sounds identical to the real thing.
