I guess the shop keeper is quite unique! One of my all time favourite films and fairly popular, I should have spent more time finding a less obvious shot but difficult to judge when I know it so well.

Anyway the guy in your one looks familiar but nothing is coming to me, looks British though.

Really? I think it looks like a cheesy made-for-tv drama from the mid 90s where the guy has terminally metastasized ovarian cancer and he's watching a video made by his fiancée (they're going to marry in 6 months, but he only has 1 week to live) and his parents (who adopted him knowing he'd die soon, but hey, they have a heart!) about his whole life, with some Richard Clayderman background music.

It is an early 200? movie and if you can ID the person in the picture, that is a GINORMOUS clue for anyone who watched a certain TV show from the early 90's. At least in the US. Not sure about the rest of the planet.

Looking around like crazy, but I just cannot recall this actors name... he looks familiar though...

Never said I was referring to the he in the picture but since I posted that, according to a coworker and verified by IMDB, apparently he was also in a fairly popular TV show during the same time as the one I was referencing.

So. Recap. An early 200? movie with (now) two people from fairly popular TV shows (again, at least from the US. The rest of the World, I can't be certain. Sorry Boys. ) from the early to mid 90's.

More clues: A prop from the movie was given away during a live broadcast on GameSpot on my birthday in 2007 and the DVD was released 5 days later.

Yay me, I've never heard of it and judging by Amazon it was only available here as an import.

Bolding Boy and World got me onto Boy Meets World, although I've not watched that either, and just went through the actors on IMDB until I recognised the girl or the guy then checked out the early 2000 movies she's been in. They don't call me Sherlock for nothing.

Great... I remember Boy Meets World from when I was young with Ben Savage... Oh well... And we werent angry there BTW, just hungry for more...

The person who wrote/directed/starred this film won a BAFTA for it and also wrote and starred in the first British drama to this sequel.

Dan got it right. The cokney wide boy in it is Danny Dyer and the BAFTA winning main man is Noel Clarke. I've just got this and Kidulthood but not watched them yet.
