Sure, but I have no experience with abs. I'll work on them both if I can hold a connection. Seriously, I can't even hold it long enough to finish the Red Bull standard championship, it always goes out about halfway through.
I feel your pain. I'm lucky to make it longer than 20 minutes without getting dropped.

It's been working lately. Comcast did some stupid move that limits gigs in Georgia, so if we're over the limit it's slow as molasses.

Hey, if you have some time, would you be able to help me with a tuning issue I've been having?

I've recently been tuning a bunch of cars for top speed runs on SSR7, and all of my rear wheel drive cars are giving me fits under braking :(

I'm very new to this style of tuning. I've tried a few different things, but have only had minor results, and nothing I would call a success.

There's only 4 braking zones on the whole track, but they're all pretty tricky at 240mph and higher. My problem is that as soon as I touch the brake pedal, the RWD cars get really "darty". It's almost impossible to brake them in a straight line, never mind while cornering as well (even though I'm using a DS3, I try to be extremely sensitive with my braking...I'm not just slamming them on).

I don't have nearly the same problem is my AWD cars, or the ISF for some reason. Is it because they are heavier, and more planted?

The cars I've been working on are: LFA, MkIII Supra, MkIV Supra, C63, RX7 Spirit R, 300ZX. Some are not as bad as others, but the LFA and MkIII are the worst.

To be honest I'm not even sure where to start. I've tried a bunch of tunes I found here on GTP, but none are really for that kind of high speed braking. I'm sure it's a combo of the brakes, suspension, and diff...but like I said, I'm kind of new to grip tuning.

Sorry for the novel  Any help, or a point in the right direction, is greatly appreciated

That should be fairly easy to fix using the LSD decel settings, raise this up until it stops squirming under braking. If you then find that the car suffers with over rotation issues when you come off the brakes (brakes straight and true and then goes squirrelly when you release them) then start raising the Initial so it is closer to the Decel setting (This will harm rotation if over done so be aware of that).
Thats all there is to it really, hope it helps.

I'll give this a shot!! I'm not really worried about rotation...at these speeds, any rotation is bad rotation

My thoughts exactly

So the diff seems to be a step in the right direction. I actually tried 60/60/60 on a couple cars, and it seemed pretty good.

A few of the cars, like the LFA, still need work though. No matter how soft and smooth I apply the brakes, one of the front corners alway seems to dip more than the other, which causes that wheel to bite, and shoots me to the wall. I get lucky and catch it sometimes, but it's not practical and I couldn't repeat it in traffic in a race.

It bugs me, because in cars like the GTRs and ISF, I can be as dumb with the brakes as I want, and still easily keep the car off the walls.

Ok, next thing to try would be raising the rear ride height to move the centre of rotation forwards and promote stability. Your spring rates need to be fairly stiff to slow down the weight transition from front to back. If the nose is dipping (transfering weight off the rear) then stiffen the front springs and/or damper compression, if its not dipping at all then try softening them a little so the suspension can soak up some of the energy. Play around with the rear extension as well, lowering this might allow it to stay compressed longer and therefore be more absorbent.
