HighOctane Tuning Garage - All Caught Up And Updated! Accepting Tune Requests!!!

Try cheating and getting gold on silverstone (brake late )

It's not Silverstone. They race brilliantly on Silverstone but I can still win easy. It's Trial Mountain that they begin to get stupid. Give stupid AI a stupid fast car on a small, tight track and they can't do anything sensible.

Can you lend cars now in GT6? I haven't heard anything on that so I wouldn't know. If you can I don't think I could tune it though. It was like that in GT5, trying to borrow a car means I could only race it.

NOTE: Okay, here we go with that Super Bowl Sunday tune I was talking about. The Ford Shelby GT500 Mustang. I kept power stock seeing as 660 HP is already a lot. This thing handles awesomely, keeps itself in check, and is incredibly fast. It's big boy weight holds it back though so keep in mind some possible understeer when coming in too hot. Have fun with this tune before having fun watching the biggest televised event I think... ... IN THE WORLD! Now, I must go. A "The Walking Dead" marathon on AMC is calling my name. :D

P.S.- Is it becoming obvious that I love this generation Mustang? Well, if it isn't, I do.

Can u use this tune on the anniversary edition?

I'm not sure, I can give it a try when I get home. :)

EDIT: @Megalodon the tune kinda works with the 15th Anniversary Edition but I would more prefer it's own tune. :)

P.S. If you plan on using this for the 15th Anniv. then you will need to use the power limiter to bring it down to 660 HP.

Tunes are looking good! I've played with a few Rally setups last night, i'll send you what I came up with on the Airtrek and we can compare. The Pikes Peak is a beast, but i didn't realize how over the PP limit and how much engine limiter I needed for the HST event last night.

I've got a GT86 meet coming up soon, I'll be using the 86 tune you've got for it!

D'oh! I wanted this to be kept a secret until tomorrow! :ouch:

Hey everyone, rally tunes tomorrow!

The Pikes Peak is a beast, but i didn't realize how over the PP limit and how much engine limiter I needed for the HST event last night.

I was surprised about the PP of the Audi too. I spent some time in the Dealership looking at the PP with a very confused face.

Good stuff! If you need it to be adjusted at all just tell me what you need and I'll get it done. :)

NOTE: I promised you guys another Hachi-Roku and here it is! Weighing in at 940 kg and packing a punch at 240 HP this car is amazingly fun. The "SC" in it's name stands for "Supercharged" so you know it's got something pushing it down the track. It was actually quite difficult to tune but I think I've got it down pretty tight. The car really needs to be driven with care though. It can oversteer and understeer all at the same time if you enter corners wrong, so keep that in mind. This was made to compete with the AE86 Levin on very equal grounds. Which one you pick is up to you. I think "Initial D" will become a common thing in this garage. Before anyone complains though, yes, I know the AE86 in Initial D is NA and not Supercharged. This is my version of it. :)

NOTE: What?? A second Hachi-Roku?? Yup. I tuned two Hachi's just for you guys. This time, it's a turbo. I think I did a better job on the suspension on this version because the overall feel is better. This car is easily way more stable on straights and corners. In my opinion, this one is the better of the two. I'd pick the Trueno when I want to have fun, but the Levin when I want a serious 450PP racer. The power and weight are modeled after Wataru's Levin from Initial D (there it goes again...) before he got it fitted with a supercharger.

NOTE: Nearly done with today's batch of tunes. I'm also getting into the "Super Powers" of my garage. This GT-R is the first in line of a series of R34's I have in mind for you guys. A very lightly tune GT-R Monster that can easily compete against the likes of the NSX MAXX, on Sports Hard tires! Kinda scary, huh? This GT-R is a fun thing to drive. Sometimes, though, she still acts like a GT-R and understeers like crazy. My suggestion would be to brake hard, turn in quick, fight some slight oversteer at times, wait until you know she will go where you point her, and slam on the gas. While I'm talking about the oversteer, if you turn in too quick in some corners you will experience some oversteer that can both help and hurt you. I'll be releasing future GT-R's soon so be expecting some crazy fast(er) GT-R's to play with!

NOTE: To be honest, I was quite reluctant to post this tune. Not because it isn't good, but because I have really grown to love this car that I wanted to keep it all to myself. I really had to push myself a bit to post this one. Time for some background on this car. This is another, and probably the last, of my story cars. This Impreza belonged to the main, unknown rival to Shinji. Surrounded by mystery, this Impreza is a monster that can take down almost all of it's prey. I can't tell you much about the person who drives this car because, again, I cut the story off too soon for any real character development. I didn't even name the driver. That's why this car is too important to me. It's so unfinished that I wanted to keep it for myself until it was complete with a driver. Trust this car, it will get you through many battles victorious. The suspension is fine tuned down to the smallest numerical value. The power comes in huge, powerful waves. I recommend you shift between 5,000-5,500 RPM. Yes, this is short-shifting like mad but it's where all the power lies. This is incredibly helpful for corners before long straightaways so keep that in mind. It could be your key to victory...

Okay guys, there goes today's batch of tunes. I hope you guys enjoy these. There were some more tunes that I wanted to post but they weren't ready yet so they will probably be included in the next batch. :) Also, this post has been updated again to include these new tunes!

Have a nice day guys! 👍

Hey DA, a while back I said I took the NSX MAXX and miniMAXX out for a photo shoot, here are some of the photos!

Both of those cars handle awesomely, 2 of my favorites in the game so far!

Okay everyone I have a few updates for you! :D

The following tunes have been updated:

Audi Pikes Peaks quattro '03 Rally
Mitsubishi AirTrek Turbo-R '02 Rally
RAM 1500 LARAMIE HEMI Quad Cab '04 Rally

These tunes are capable of driving on snow tracks with the current tune! I would suggest lengthening the gear ratio for Chamonix Main. Also, try not to countersteer when trying to slide on snow. Steer the car towards the apex of the corner almost entirely through the corners. You'll understand when you drive these cars. :sly:

I prefer using the Mitsubishi because it is lightweight and easy to throw around corners. :)

All tunes posts will be edited to have this post linked to it.

NOTE: This H.E.P. G37 was tuned specifically for the newest Time Trial Seasonal Event on the Streets of Willow. I wasn't going to share this tune originally but when I realized how amazingly this tune came out I just had to. This car, with the help of all that downforce, sticks to the ground like it's nothing. It's Mid Range RPM Turbo keeps it going down the straights fast and true. The suspension was tuned very carefully to help it get around corners with the most amount of grip possible. The LSD was hard to tune and because of that if you step on it too soon it will cause wheel spin and maybe some uncontrollable oversteer. Also, there may be hints of understeer in some corners so pick a good line and brake hard.

NOTE: This LanEvo was tuned for the new Time Trial Seasonal Event on Chamonix East. Oh my goodness, this car is just so fun! Everything feels so balanced and it's just immense fun to slide around the snowy corners. Oh, I forgot to mention. The only way to really drive this Evo is to slide it around corners. It will already do it by itself but I just want to mention to keep the slides at a small, controlled angle. Don't go all out with the angles and worry about controlling the slide enough to avoid hitting the wall. Just like my other rally cars, you can't countersteer and have to keep the wheels pointing in the direction of the corner the entire way. Trust in this car and with your skill, a Gold Trophy will be your in a matter of laps!

P.S. - Why didn't anyone tell me I could fit LSD's to Evo's now??? I need to get to work on updating Taro's Evo IV!

NOTE: This was a request by @pipntick that I kinda fell back on. I got very spending happy and lacked the in-game funds to tune a car like this. Glad the X Challenges finally were released. What can I say about this car? Um, it's fast. Really fast. The added downforce and hardened suspension on this race car keep it straight on straights and fast in corners. The only downside to this car is the way the LSD is tuned. I suggest you avoid taking corners in second gear. I managed a 6:47.896 on the Ring but this car has the potential to go much faster.

Okay guys, that was it for today's tunes. I want to focus on a project I'm currently working on so today and tomorrow there won't be very many tunes. I will also be spending time updating a few things in the first and second post to make things look a little better and more professional. I will also try to come up with a new format on how to present the tunes. The tunes list will be updated soon and will update this post when I've finished updating it. :)

Have a nice day guys! 👍

EDIT: This post has been updated!
