God! They're really making you work for these damn power cells. If I had known where they were I could have picked them up. Now I have to travel to a lot of old places.

I've found two of them at the current moment even though I'm not to far into the story. I'm only at "The revenge of the Nora" quest

You find a Power Cell as you progress the story. It's pretty clever how they spread them out, because the item you get for finding the Cells will make the game incredibly easy.
 
That Stormbird is evil on Very Hard difficulty. I thought Glinthawks were a pain yet I managed to stumble into this horrible thing.
I have one power cell still to find but sadly I cannot get access to it yet. It requires access to a ladder.


That Stormbird edges out the Deathbringer. Though it is equally bad but a different kind of hell. Fun though.
 
Instead, I just finished today Nil side-quests, got level 50 and cleared all corrupted areas. I'm on 78% trophies progress.
 
I'm about 25 hours in and almost done with the main quests, will do some side ones before I finish but it's one of my favorite games of this generation so far.

Loving the photomode shots by everyone, will join in later.
 
I completed the main quests recently and hit level 50. The game was thoroughly entertaining and I'm excited for more. On the plus side, there are still many things to do after the main story. Hell, even just wondering around the gorgeous map hunting and taking photos is a ton of fun.
 
I think I've done all the side quests as I cannot seem to find anymore exclamation marks.

Currently level 43. Over 100 hours so far.


Terraforming. Loved that. This has been the best part so far for me. The Kurgan is quite bad ass.

 
Wow, I thought you would be at level 50 by now that you've done all the side quests.

I came across a sneaky couple of hidden side quests that popped up near the gates of the second part of the map. Now level 46 and 113:34 hours.
 
Hey guys I just finished the game and the last quest gets activated again after the ending. Is that how it's supposed to be? Or is that some glitch? Btw the game is insanely brilliant. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

They give you the final quest again because it's for a trophy/achievement. Think it's the one where you need all followers to join you in the final battle. If you already got it, then there's not much reason to do it again.
 
Loved these trial/training grounds. Wish I had done them sooner.

I'm truly gutted its over. Truly! Finished and Platinum'ed through the early hours of the morning.

Oh yes, the Lodge missions are fun.


I've never been sucked in on such an immersive journey and felt quite sad at the end. It was quite a challenge without the weaver suit on very hard. Kept spamming the potions buttons, nearly couldn't get them to load fast enough. Went through 3 suits for it all. Started with the melee defense suit, then the shock suit, fire suit then back to the melee suit.

Think I'll replay that mission again as I forgot to record it since I was so immersed.


Think I had 142 hours or so on it.

  • Fixed an issue in “The Point of the Spear” where some players could safely drop into areas of the map during the Brave trials before speaking with Rost.
  • Fixed an issue in “A Seeker at the Gates” where the certain users could trigger a save point in Mother’s Watch after becoming stuck behind the gate.
  • Fixed an issue in “The Womb of the Mountain” where completing a weapon tutorial during the corruptor fight and reloading would block further progression for some users.
  • Fixed an Issue in “The Field of the Fallen” where some players found Erend to get stuck in the floor after killing two ravagers at the ambush site.
  • Fixed an issue in “The Sun Shall Fall” where some players could avoid the trigger before entering the Throne Room. Resulting in the ear bleeder not spawning until the player reloads to an earlier save.
  • Fixed an issue in “The Sun Shall Fall” where certain players got stuck on the objective ‘Investigate the Area’ or ‘Go to the Solarium’ if the player avoids certain triggers.

  • Fixed an issue where Aloy appeared to be out of focus for some players when the camera is brought close to her.
  • Fixed an issue in “The Point of the Spear” where for some players Aloy still has two spears in her inventory after the recent patch.
  • Fixed an issue in “The Proving” where some players meant to confront Olin about his Focus during the speech, but were able to escape from the area resulting in the inability to return.
  • Fixed an issue in “The City of the Sun” where for certain players the tutorial message would still appear after completing the quest.
  • Fixed an issue in “The Grave Hoard” where some players were able to leave the map and get stuck outside of the playable area.
  • Fixed an issue in “Deep Secrets of the Earth” where if some players surpass the trigger for the movie sequence, the main story quest will not progress upon entering the bunker.

  • Fixed an issue where certain players who ride a mount from the Spire would be able to bypass the “mount can’t enter this location” message in Meridian Village.
  • Fixed an issue where for some players the Stormbird would become dysfunctional after its state was repeatedly changed between burning and stunned.
  • Fixed an issue where certain players who tried to enter Sunfall with a mount without the appropriate disguise would get kicked from the mount while the camera kept its focus on the mount.
  • Fixed several issues where for some players in certain occasions dropping a Treasure Box would leave the Treasure Boxes floating the air.

The struggle is real.
 
I just got this game yesterday and it is absolutely amazing! There's definitely some elements of Assassin's Creed and Elder Scrolls, chiefly the former. Aloy is a likeable, but not flawless character, the story is pretty great so far, and the photomode is absolutely amazing.
If I had one complaint, it's that Rost was killed too early, he was a great character. If Guerilla Games wanted to make a prequel, he'd be a great protagonist; unless later on it's revealed that he was actually terrible. Which happens a lot in games like this
