Correct. This early styling exercise for the Ford Focus project was rejected in favour of the beautifully proportioned object of desire that made it into production.

And I'm not lying. This clearly is NOT a Bristol. It dates from 1939.
As any ful kno Bristol was making only airplanes in 1939.
A coupe version of this car (with bodywork by the same coachbuilder) was successful at Le Mans post-war even though it was said to have done 125,000 miles before it reached the start line.
This is now a total gimme. This picture comes up on Google with the search "1939 Bentley". I will post a new car in five minutes if no-one gets it by then.
