'Very Popular!' is interesting wording. Being well known doesn't necessarily mean you're popular... I presume those that have chosen the top option have done so because they feel they're well known rather than on some kind of ego trip!

Or have they? You know who you are....

I mean, if I look through the top 4 - 5 pages of the posters on GTP, I pretty much know everybody there.

I generally post in the off topic forums, sometime in the Opinions forum, and rumble strip. I'd imagine I'm well known in the NHL thread since I was the top poster there last season, and I'd imagine some other members would recognize me. By and large though I can't say I'd be particularly well known.

I think I used to be well know when I was first on here following the GTF collapse early in 2002. I posted a lot and there was a tight knit group of us who had a good laugh starting inane pointless threads. I went away for a few years after about 2003/04 and came back at the launch of GT5 - which is why I've only amassed about 2,000 posts in almost 10 years. Pretty much everyone from back then had gone, but it's good to see the hard core originals are still all here.

It's not supposed to be a sob story, and don't feel sorry for me as you'll soon find out I'm a bit of a c***!

Seems I'll be around for a bit longer this time...

I'd say absolutely nobody in the main GT5 section knows who I am, which is good.

Everyone in the tuning section knows who I am, which is good.

Everyone in the Cars In General section knows who I am, which is good or bad.

Oh and the mods. Had my run-ins (get a bit carried away in arguments, oops) but no truly bad experiences and so far a clean slate sides a PM warning or two.
