what will become of me? :guilty:

Your memory will start to fade, senses will grow dull, you'll NEVER feel rested, you'll notice you've become very moody, oh and you'll stare at your ceiling. A lot.

Gaming aside, I haven't had a good night sleep in about 4-5 years so trust me on that.

This. Sleep is more important than gaming.

Agreed. When I'm tired, my driving falls apart and I just get frustrated. I personally don't enjoy driving when tired, it's something that I need to be alert to enjoy.

My advice to godzidane is... try to get at least 8-10 hours sleep each night, you'll find the game more enjoyable if you're alert. :)

Is it bad that I read that as find another lobby..?

:scared:

I just read the same thing, so it's nothing to worry about. :dopey:

Recently, Microsoft Word was installed into my head and "Autocorrect" finally kicked it at the right time.

I only read lobby for a second, then "Autocorrect" kicked in...

(I made this a bigger deal than it actually is)

Like what many of the others are saying you can drive well when you are sleep deprived, your memory will fade, your pressure may go up, you may not function efficiently in the other areas of life and alot more can be written so do yourself a favor a get your rest.

Not that easy when you go into a random room around 9pm, have a total blast & then realise that its 6am & getting light!

Luckily, I`m now on holiday until the new year, so I can get away with it. :sly:

Well, at least you are eating and sleeping still.

Once you're in a full racing suit with a diaper then I'd start to worry.

You know whats sad, Ive seen videos of people on youtube in racing suits will playing racing games. SAD SAD SAD

I've had a worse situation... I've gotten to the point where I physically feel the bumps that i go over in my entire body rather than in my hands... I feel everything, it's scary!

You must not have children. You'll cherish 4 hours of sleep if you ever do.

lol... Or back pains... I have both kids and back pain... I dont ever want to go to sleep because when I wake up is when my back hurts the worst... So I use GT5 to help keep me awake longer... lol

If only I could install my 20" rims I just got for my Mustang today... Ugh... the rain and the wind kinda prevent that or else I wouldnt be on here right now... lol

Nothing a few energy drinks can't solve.

Energy drinks don't work, for me anyway. They just kind of leave you in an unfocused daze.
My sleeping pattern sucks right now. It's got nothing to do with any video game however.

Play even more is my advice. You'll get sick of it eventually and take a break.
After a period of not playing at all you'll enjoy the game more.

You'll sometimes feel like you're having an irritating headache and always sodden since your brain needs more rest to be fully awaken, and your memory tends to become dim with insuffient hours of sleeping... Falling asleep all of a sudden in your free time spared for recreation.

Playing video games isn't physically/mentally a bad thing but enough sleep is more important to retain yourself in a sound health condition.

Same happened to me. My only advice is to play even more. After a week or two you will get bored, trust me. If you start limiting your gaming now you won't get rid of your addiction.

Think the best way of getting rid of that is just setting your watch or whatever you wanna use to 12.00. Then when it hits 12 just put ur controller og something in a lockbox :D

Try to budget (limit) the amount of time you spend gaming. Real life is more important than a racing simulator, no matter how amazing it may be. Take a shower. Shave. Clean your room. Eat a decent meal. Get a job. Call your friends, or maybe go out to dinner or see a movie with your friends. If you don't have any friends, try to make friends who are not online and faceless. Hell, maybe even talk to some pretty girls. Life is *so* much more enjoyable when it's healthy and balanced. You will be fine if you don't spend your whole life playing.

After a period of not playing at all you'll enjoy the game more.

This is true.
