i hate racing. oh, like to watch it, and doing them is fun, but i haven't the drive in me to get started. i prefer time trials. always have. i'm only 52 % done.

Quite the confession. My 100th post! When do I get a custom avatar? I'm sick of "there's space beneath."

Wow, I thought I was behind, at 80% completion... ;)

i'm almost there, but i really suck with the tt's. All the other races such as the f1's vitz, enduros weren't bad at all. But the tt is SO DAMN HARD!

BTW: i'm 98.8% done

I've had the game since the day it came out and I just now beat it. I kinda put it down for a few months to play other games but I came back to it and finally got it. man was TT10 hard(ok not really if you use your ghost).....

This is not a confession anyways,..

I got GT3 bundled with the PS2, and I didnt care about it, I just wanted the PS2.

After almost a month, I tried GT3 and I was surprised of the amount of fun I was missing.

See... I bought my PS2, strictly for GT3. Now, the only other games I'll ever play are GTA3 as well as MGS2.

But, I always go back to racing. What I end up doing (over and over again) is just playing through Beginner and Amateur - I just don't have the time to invest to sit and play through on Pro, let alone the endurance races.

Beginner and Amateur though :D - it just gets me grinnin'

Same here... I bought my PS2 exclusively for GT3... in fact, to this day, it's still the only game I have for my PS2... saddistic, isn't it? :D

Eh, 81.5% now.... :p

I'm not a fan of the racing in GT3, because of the poor AI - it tends to be better in the lower speed cars, but it's still a bump fest.

That said, the driving experience is so good (especially with the force-feedback wheel) that it just about makes up for it.

That sure is sadistic!

Well... not that sadistic, it is kinda whats happening with me. I just have five games for my PS2 but it seems I have just one, the one I always play:GT3. I rarely spend all that time with other games.

So far, 69.2% complete and I've had it for two months, but I only played on the weekends when I have free time. Also, 274 days on the status.

In truth no, I convinced the wife that the kids would enjoy the PS2. Of course, I only wanted GT3. All of my games are racing or driving. All three GT's, Colin McRae's Rally, 007 Racing.

I am considering Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance.

Down side: I do have to share the PS2 with the kids.
Upside: I'm a nurse I get my work week over in three days.
So, I usually have a couple of days during the week with sole possesion of the PS2. :D Thank God for school.

BTW am 98.2% complete with GT3, am avoiding the Vitz/Yaris race series in pro, and the Formula GT. Honing my skilz before I go there.
