If it's a Camry, TRD USA makes a S/C for it? No performance products for the sports Toyotas... truly a sad place to live now that I think about it...
A Camry Solara is basically a 2-door luxury Camry. There's a convertible version and a coupe.

You want to know TRD USA's lineup of parts for the MR-S? Two different body kits, some 17" wheels, aluminum shift knob, sports muffler ($800!!), air filter, quick shift kit, and some actual performance pieces... a 'Sportivo' suspension kit that is actually a pretty nice track/street blend, and front and rear strut tower braces. Here in the US we Toyota-ites generally look to other aftermarket sources for go-fast parts. Companies that make the Formula Atlantic (240+hp 4AGE) engines will charge an arm and a leg for their stuff though.

Edit... get this. The TRD supercharger that fits the Solara? It also fits in the Sienna! That's our minivan, by the way. How backwards is that...

A 1992 Corolla is not an AE85, but in fact an AE92.

I knows.

My parents want me to take their Camry or Accord. MAn I need a car bad. My parents are going to drag me along with my 16 year old sister on a 9 hour car drive. I hate my life.

Well at least you have SOME parts for the MR-S. And $800USD... for a muffler, that's ridiculous, I can get it for $100USD probably. The Formula Atlantic... my friend's Levin has that engine. It's so sweet hearing it at 9000RPMs. I checked an importer in the U.S. called ToySport. They want $5,000+USD for the FA crankshaft... I got mine for $2,100USD.

Man it sucks there...

She look good? Just kidding... but seriously she look good? God... is she annoying is what I meant to say.

Let me ask you guys a question. Since TRD sucks over there, what about MazdaSpeed, Nismo, RalliArt, Mugen, etc. Don't tell me that they make a... MazdaSpeed Demio!, or something stupid like that...

-Tom

ehhh america is ummed up in with looks over performance...

we like anything that looks good and we dont car bout much else... there are exception now and then tho

Man, I should be an importer of TRD stuff, I could make a fortune. I get it for nothing, and charge $10USD lower than the average importer, and boom, serious cash... not happening...

None of these are big players in the states. They're either way too expensive to import or no use for it. For example, most Nissan owners have Altimas or Maximas. GTR is obviously none-existent except the Infiniti G35. You will see some Mugen but most people will perfer other brands such as HKS and AEM. Mazda Miata is the most popular in the states but it's for the ladies because Americans like spyders - which means unless she's a car freak don't expect to see any mods.

TRD is mainly seen on off-road Thundras and is a different story.

You subtract half a day and 3 more hours to get the time for people living in California; half a day for NYC. Use the time-zone if you own Windows ;)

- lets c, TRD, sucks balls, Mazdaspeed has jsut maed a appearance with their Mazdaspeed Protoge, Mugen is non-exisitant, Nismo will b importin parts sumtime next year to sell in Nissan dealerships, RalliArt is also non-existant except for the stickers!!!, i c Mitzu Eclipses with RalliArt stickers.....how ghey is that, and any other import tuning companies...well there r non from japan, for domestics, well the list would go on and on

MazdaSpeed PROTEGE!?!?!?! That's the equivalent of a Familia which is a nice, inexpensive SEDAN. That's all? A MazdaSpeed Familia... how pathetic. I didn't think you would have Mugen. Nismo importing parts, useless without the Skyline. RalliArt, not even for your EVOs? And people that did that to their Eclipse... don't deserve to live. What do they have for Corvettes?

-Tom

no mugen either, they have importers, but its PRICY, around $5000 i believe for a full RSX (02' Honda Integra), kit, its crazy, but for corvettes, they've got full engine mods, even performance engines, no body kits, but jsut about even performance mod u can find 4 a corvette they have

-and damn u tom, u and ur friggen 100 posts, im only @ a lowly 77

hey and r u in any automotive club? over here a AE in good condition thats fully moded is hard to find, they have a club called "Club 4A-G" there r sum very nice AE's, only 22 more posts to go...whoo hoo

$5,000! DAMMNNNN. I'm DEFINATELY becoming an importer.

I figured for Corvettes they would have that stuff. We have our stuff, you have your stuff. They're starting to sell the C5 Coupe over here. I'll let you know if they have any sick modifications later on when they make them.

Yup, I edited this avatar from 2 different AE86's. This is what mine looks like. HID lighting, foglights, RS Watanbe wheels, etc.

LOL, are you kidding? We *just* started getting EVOs here. The EVO 8 just came out about a month ago, it's our first one.

The Mazdaspeed Protege is actually a pretty decent car. It's a FWD small sedan but it's turbo and has stellar handling. Coming soon are a Mazdaspeed Miata and RX8.

We don't get the Demio here...

Nope no club, don't want to be in a club due to meets and then they want you to race someone who was talking their smack around and it's just too much of a pain. Half the AE86 club owners can't drive... it's sad on how bad I beat them, then they blame it on their AE86 4A-GE compared to my AE-101 4A-GE. They know I have this engine, but yet they still challenge me. I don't like anyone from Club 4A-G. I had an arguement over something unimportant and unrelated to anything related on cars, and from there on, I just haven't really checked that place out. My dad, my best friend, and myself is my 'club.' But we're not like all the other clubs that each member drives their car and when they go out... they TRY to park next to each other and it's just stupid. My best friend and I usually take my car when we go out (saves him gas money), and my dad barely drives his AE86. I wish he did. He doesn't like when I tell people about his car but I don't care.

oh yeah, engines.... more PICS!!!!

I didn't know you just started getting EVOs. The way everyone was talking about them, I figured you had at least the Evo IV. Damn, I know it's detuned, but how is it overall?

I just looked it up (about time I looked something up) and it's got a Callaway turbo engine?!? That's pretty neat, only 170hp though. It looks nice, but I can't drive FWD...

And no Demio, not that it's a great car or van or whatever, I was just using that as an example of a MazdaSpeed car.

the above is a TRD Group A engine, i beleve, AE-101, but more pics!!! a 4A-G jsut 4 Tom
