I'll admit: summer reading is good once in a while when you're bored. I have to read The Heart of the Matter and it got interesting as soon as I started to think about what really happened back in the days when the story takes place. It's a good leisure for me, but having to do it for school? Forget it :p

I only saw one Subaru WRX STi. I was on Lawerence Expressway and it was trying to jump from 20MPH to 60MPH between Arques and the street after that. It sounded soo nice  and then it was gone. Then a trail of Subarus was behind it and then two SW20s TT burned some rubber. Sweet :D

I just found out: the STi comes with a radio as an option :yuck: I don't think I'll need it because I'll be paying attention to the muffler :D

 you have never heard of Subaru Tecnica International (STi)
what do you think all the WRX's are on GT3:)

i saw an STi on 19th in the city... sweet...

saw plenty of ugly white evos... one silver... ehhh.... best car i ever saw was a ac cobra or whatever in union city and then a blue one in berkeley.... oooooooooooo...

The STi in GT3 was a hard car to drift IMO because it would understeer a lot, much like the R32. It was hard for me, that's why it's not my favorite drifter in GT3. In real life, that's a different story :)

 Was the STi stock or modded?

I haven't seen any Evos around here in the South Bay, but I'm hoping that there will be some more rolling around here in the future :)

and i believe the BNR34 is the R34, yeah tokyo extreme racer has taught me well, the 4 dorr version is the ER34, and it powerd by a RB25DET

Correct. TXR used chassis codes so there's a good learning tool.

wana b drifter... your new avatar...

Speaking of avatars, I'm going to make one of all the Truenos and Levins (TE27 - AE-111) and have some kind of pretty effect with the words EVOLUTION on it. It'll look cool, but in the end, it'll have the Trueno on my current avatar, and I'll try my best to draw the 4A-GE.

pretty booo....er lady, yeah i c alotta evo 8s around here, all in white and one in red, only seen about 5 though, only 1 STi yet, sigh.....ppl jsut dun want the 300 hp i guess

actually only $230, 4 the evo they sell a JDM car cover for $216, air dam is $231, and brake cooling guides r 149, they're "sports meter kit" is $464, but it does come with 17' enkei's wrapped with advans

wana b drifter changed his avatar... why?

Because the moderators told him to change it. There's a thread in the Rumple Strip, on the bottom of the page when you want to find Gran Turismo 3.

Is the stock turbo gauge better or an aftermarket one?

well depends, an after market one would set u back about teh same price, but the "stock", its not stock, its a optional acessory, when u get ti, they will install it for u, give u a cluster box thing to fit it in, and it'll say STi on it, ooooo ahhhh

Hey, I know it's like 5AM over there, but I was watching T.V., and I checked out ESPN because on DirecTV it says "auto racing." It ended up being this celebrity Toyota race at Long Beach, CA. They were racing in Celicas... it was OK, but too many errors made by these people. They spun out in a FWD car... that is just sad.

We'll I'm going out tonight, so I'll see you all later.

u c that little box on the gauge, it says STi, and sumthin under it, im pretty sure, cuz i looked in the car i say on sunday and it said STi on it, but hey i mayb b wrong

They spun out in Celicas in Long Beach, CA. It was a bunch of celebrities (11 or 12), and there were 5 professionals that started 30 seconds behind. And they were just taking horrible corners and hitting each other. And these girls driving are slamming on the brakes before a corner and locking the front wheels up. It was a good laugh.

ooo that race, Jesse James, West Coast Choppers owner, was in that racem he decided to hit as many cars as he could, he finally fender bended sum guy near the last lap

maybe they were and thats why they were spinnin all over the place... pretty hard to spin out in a ff... you can skid but spin out... only a dum arse could manage that all you gotta do is let of gas and you will regain traction on your front wheels...

Yes true, but they were using stock Celicas... they probably have less power in the U.S. than here, but still, it's a weak car. I doubt they were pulling the handbrakes though. Who knows...

-Tom

man i'd b goin in reverse, hell yea, all they were, were stock Celica GT-S's with 20 pounds of vinyl on em, sponsor herre and tehre, mayb sum flashy grafix, but thast about it, oh yeah cant forget the crappy drivers, YEAH
