And I want a bunch of naked blondes with big boobs on GT Auto.
This is not PD forums bro'. Don't think they will hear ya screamin'
But nice try !
PD do look into this forum, and they Do hear us!!!
I dont think PD actually knows what the term self-expression means, or what it means to be unique. They think everyone is ok with having cars that look the same as everyone elses.
I wish there were more customization options, especially a livery editor. This is the same reason why people get earrings, or tattoos, or wear certain kinds of clothes, or cut their hair a certain way, they dont want to look like everyone else. Turn 10 gets this.
It is not about number of cars, its all about how unique your car looks, so PD please patch to add more varity to Aero Parts and Rims, and why Rims are the same size for any given car?
I have a better idea. Go buy Need For Speed. GT was NEVER about mods and how your car looks, it's about grassroots racing and racing production cars. You are buying the wrong game. If you were to buy a car, would you whine that it's not good enough off road? Buy a truck for that right? Catch my drift?

That is probably one of the more ignorant posts in this thread. GT is a racing game, its a car game. In real life, people like to customize their cars. We should be allowed to do that in GT as well? Personally, I'm not a fan of ricer cars, but I do enjoy customizing my cars tastefully, and it really improves a game's replayability.
It's actually very odd consider they are from Japan, the country that famous for making regular car look like spaceship.
I think it came down to Kaz's personality and preference. He prefers the car have the classy look rather than a ricer tuner.
Dude, back in GT2 there was the 'Racing Modification' modification, which in most cases did nothing except make the car look like a race car. And there has always been the options to change wheels, which serve no purpose other than make the car look different. And the Mazda 787B is neither a grassroots race car or production car, as are the countless other F1 car, LMPs, JGTC car, touring cars, rally cars, NASCARS, etc.

I still don't really know if GT5 can be classified as a racing sim, regardless of what they say. It just doesn't quite fit that title with the lack of a complex tire model that is realistic, and it doesn't seem to have the degree of mechanical damage you would find in a true sim. If you ask me, it's teetering between racing sim and just a realistic looking racing game. It's in a gray area. I know console racing differs from PC racing sims quite a bit, mostly due to the degree of user content that can be created in PC sims. Don't forget about mods too.
I played Shift for about 2 hours and realized, this is NOT a racing sim. It had real cars, real tracks, and looked good, but that's all that was real about it. The physics and handling with a wheel were absolutely terrible. Maybe I didn't give it long enough to fine tune some stuff, but I tried, and straight out of the box, it felt terrible. I was really excited for it too, but really should have listened to my instinct. It was NFS, and EA. I was dumb for overlooking that.
